Institutions selling? Maybe an overhang cleared?

A very quick run up back to the 240-250 level (rising over 10% in a little over a week). Question remains, will it break out this time? Time will tell

Have been topping up here for the last 2 days. IMO, there are not many company's you can buy on this market that have a good chance of a 10% sustained yield in the near future. Of course that is not certain and I would not expect a divi to be reinstated until at least the year end (approx 12 months time - pay date). Just hoping that in this case fortune favours the brave.

It's the fear of the unknown (sorry, I'm repeating myself!). The market was obviously shaken not only by the scale of the provisions but the 'adjustment' of the original sum by 100%. It suggested that they don't really know. I can't see any real and sustained recovery until there is more clarity on the liabilities.

Hi rhatton, it's hard to answer that. If true this is a massive bargain. If there is more trouble coming then maybe not. For me I take my lead from the short figures (ie very little currently) and the share price action (in which case I would expect a bounce from here). Place your bets!!

Should there by no further issues and hiccups what are we looking at for the current year EPS? Is digital look accurate at around 55p+ per share?

Was hoping to make the AGM but could not
Just seen the voting figures and noteworthy that the remuneration report was passed by 99.82% of the votes and indeed all resolutions passed easily.

What us holders want is the institutional investers buying back in, looking at the trades, I assume and of course I could be wrong, that the 5 - 20,000 trades are Institutions, we need a lot more of those, but it will take them a day or two to digest today's statement before they act.

Not sure what more detail you want to see at this stage. Much of the detail is not doubt with contract & legal currently, and likely to take time to unravel.

"In line" will do for me for now. Much better than the alternative some feared.

I am not expecting £7 again any time this decade! But somewhere between £4 and £5 seems achievable at least.

I agree a bit more detail about the large fella from the Proboscidea would have been helpful. Ah, well, patience once more I suppose...

#4079,

I agree. I'm not sure whether to feel encouraged or worried by the lack of comment about the Elephant In The Room!

Interserve is a value play, it seems problems are being sorted out, giving the shares plenty of room to move up. Buying now in time will leave you with a very attractive dividend yield in the future.

In line I guess means "no deterioration, please refer to the final results". So as that works through I expect it should be business as usual and a resumption of the dividend this year or next.

Good update barring one line.

Progress on contracts within our exited Energy from Waste business is in line with expectations.

Would like more clarification on that point.

Yes, but not on this occasion!

Interserve wins £36.5 million contract

I think rHatton, that a company have to release a UK Regulatory RNS, if the contract size is substantial and likely to substantially change full year projected results.

If it is less substantial they can choose to inform investors / institutions etc via a non regulatory RNS, ie, it is a PR good news story, being promoted.

Yeah I saw the one on Advfn but it was RSNON...non regulatory? I thought that would have been an RNS, just curious that's all? Good to see anyways.

How come that contract win wasn't released as a regular RNS?
