25/6/2015 13:03 | Yeah true. I consider analyst views but don't give undue importance. I will look to sell this share - when div yield goes below 2.5% - if CEO starts reducing his stake or leave the company - if UK economy growth slows down dramatically or goes into recession. Until then - I am happy to hold. | alokarya
25/6/2015 11:56 | Good point. I was looking at the latest broker views and I note that , of the published ones , there has not been a single sell or underweight note for more than a yr from any of them. None of the target prices are that high though . | wad collector
25/6/2015 11:49 | Agree Wad collector. Still a low PE ratio. Decent dividend yield. CEO holds 0.35% stake (worth over £3 million) in the company which shows his confidence in the business. | alokarya
25/6/2015 11:44 | The contract wins are impressively regular , one day the market may notice the potential value of IRV and soar into 4 figures , but meanwhile we will have to settle for incremental little rises like this last few weeks .Happy to hold. | wad collector
23/6/2015 07:45 | Contract win, £200m. | philo124
22/6/2015 22:52 | Thanks guys, saves me a read. :-) | edmundshaw
22/6/2015 17:15 | Yeah, I scanned the article looking for insight but came away with not much except the fact that the CEO is going to hang around which I guess is good news. | salpara111
22/6/2015 15:31 | half page interview article with Ringrose in the Telegraph today Not a very penetrating interview | cerrito
19/6/2015 20:34 | Yes, does look good chart now. | philo124
19/6/2015 20:20 | Even in the shorter run I'd guess now, wad. | dogwalker
19/6/2015 17:16 | Well that has been a pretty solid week here , finishing on a new 10 month high . In the long run this is only going one way. | wad collector
12/6/2015 15:31 | As jeffian pointed out before, small margins (1.8%) only really apply to the construction side. However, the construction side can be cash enriching as claims are made along the duration of a contract and the cash inflow is often used to finance other sectors of the business. | bertiebru
12/6/2015 15:12 | Been discussed before - | jeffian
12/6/2015 13:53 | Small margins are the nature of the sector I am afraid ; they need some very good pricing judgement. | wad collector
12/6/2015 13:50 | Thanks Thorpematt. All those fees selling and buying back the institutions incur. All for the sake of a comfort blanket. I wish management could improve the tiny margins. | spacecake
11/6/2015 23:19 | Spacecake, I think the election had something to do with that. Institutions de-risking well in advance. Also the prior large acquisition is not always welcomed since it presents integration risk and exceptional charges which effect the bottom line. (If I recall I likend IRV to an anoconda eating a deer at the time). And, not forgetting that IRV was £2 not so long ago. A lot of people had some profit to take. These things do tend to self perpetuate once they have started. | thorpematt
11/6/2015 22:53 | Finally getting some traction. | salpara111
11/6/2015 18:41 | Why did we have the dip below 500p ? was that just a random thing ? | spacecake
11/6/2015 13:33 | Just need to stay now above the 650p, & we have lift off.... | dogwalker
04/6/2015 22:32 | Also overweight in spite of top slicing last month, for portfolio risk reasons. Also sitting on my hands for now. £8 would seem a more reasonable price for these imo. | edmundshaw
03/6/2015 22:00 | Glad to hear that. | philo124
03/6/2015 21:47 | From my perspective IRV is the most undervalued stock I have performed fair valuation calcs for and thus I have no intention of considering selling. I'd buy more but I have rules which i won't breach in terms of % of portfolio. | thorpematt
03/6/2015 13:06 | I agree , wad, re the motoring. Just need to confirm a break up past £6-50, imho, then we can put the foot down. | dogwalker
03/6/2015 12:23 | Nurdin the IRV involvement must be a fairly large part of the £550m if it generates 800 new jobs. But this is old news - it was in the 7th May posting I put up above hxxp://www.theconstr However there is another big contract win in the offing hxxp://www.construct At the risk of repetition , IRV share price looks set to start motoring again to me . I have too large a holding ,but not at all tempted to take profits . | wad collector
03/6/2015 10:44 | Hope Qatar retains the World Cup !!!! you're having a laugh The sooner the whole FIFA/UEFA/FA mess is sorted the better - time for some honesty and integrity | joe say |
