03/6/2015 09:37 | That is a substantial contract but wonder what IRVs share is... | nurdin
03/6/2015 08:56 | Yes wad, hope Qatar retains 2022, it's a great place. I think more likely the Russia 2018 will be moved to UK. As Russia will have probably annexed the UK by then it will be a win win situation for them. | philo124
03/6/2015 08:38 | A contract is a contract. But the 9 elms towers scare me a bit... | edmundshaw
03/6/2015 08:34 | I wonder how secure the Qatar contract payments are , now that FIFA is imploding. | wad collector

27/5/2015 17:04 | Stormed up to a 6 month high today ; I see Motley Fool tipped today for the usual sort of reasons; along with a similar one for CLLN. Interserve Interserve (LSE: IRV) is a stock that often goes under the radar, with the provision of support services perhaps not being the most exciting of businesses for investors to add to their portfolios. However, its returns are very, very interesting and evidence of this can be seen in the fact that its share price has more than trebled in the last five years. Despite this, it still trades on a hugely appealing valuation, with Interserve having a P/E ratio of just 10.1. Looking ahead, profit growth of 7% this year and 10% next year is forecast, which is above the growth rate of the wider index. As such, it is very difficult to justify such a low valuation for the company, which makes it a steal at its current share price. Furthermore, its dividend yield of 3.9% has considerable appeal – especially with the UK economy going from strength to strength and making brisk dividend increases a very realistic next step. | wad collector

15/5/2015 14:45 | It was wishful thinking , but not impossible that this will drift back up to £7 , never to return... | wad collector
15/5/2015 11:58 | No momentum Salpara?????? | bertiebru
15/5/2015 09:52 | As a holder I wish I could believe that but there has been no momentum since the election relief bounce. I have nowhere else better to put the money so it can stay here for now but I am mindful of the fact that the share price is once again falling on a day when the FTSE 250 is climbing. | salpara111
14/5/2015 15:44 | Last chance for cheap seats on this train that is now leaving the station? To mix a few metaphors.. | wad collector
12/5/2015 17:25 | Many thanks for that Wad Collector. I'm glad someone knows what is going on. | bertiebru
12/5/2015 16:29 | "In line" will do me . I like understatement. They seldom seem to announce contract wins , but I note this; "New work valued at £628.5m has put Interserve at the top of the league for contract wins in April. It took first place on the Builders’ Conference BCLive list thanks to five wins, dominated by its £600m contract to build a new hotel at Nine Elms for the Chinese-owned Wanda Dalian group." Who remembers the RNS about the hotel? Not me , and I see the reason why ; there wasn't one. A £600 Million contract is clearly not worthy of letting the market know. If you are looking to sell IRV this is clearly frustrating , but if you are looking to buy , then this is good news . Personally I am looking at neither , and so it makes little difference to me , but this is short sighted as one day I will want to sell (or my heirs!). | wad collector
12/5/2015 09:50 | They say they have secured 'a number of significant new contracts', so why do they not tell us what they are. If you look at their web page the last contract they mention is one for B&Q in February. | bertiebru |
