Extrader,

This thread is set up to discuss Inditherm, not for comparative assessments regarding which contributor is more respected relative to others and other sanctimonious guff you spout.

If you have anything useful to write about Inditherm, then do it. Otherwise, get your ticket for the next Mello event. Alternatively, you might just roll your money and smoke it - the outcome is the same.

Hope that helps.

Hi yasX,

Leaving aside your ad hominem remarks re davidosh and Paulypilot, why do you imagine investors of the calibre of Lord John Lee, Giles Hargreaves, Gervais Williams etc would risk their reputations at Mello events, unless they felt they were high quality......?

You can usually judge people by the company they keep.

You seem to post a lot about Tethys Petroleum (TPL), which appears to be a member of the 90% club.

Pls share with us the companies/boards where (any) respected investors share your views.

Battlebus,

Those events are attended by deluded nuts and the promoters are willing to accept any company ready to promote - those who do are almost invariably struggling and hoping to raise cash.

Of course, one or two might rise - but the vast majority will and do fail.

I published a similar comment on the site where these 'promoters' ply their trade - instantly it was one of the most recommended posts. Within a day the 'promoters' had taken steps to moderate that comment. What does that tell you?

Say no more. As for you suggesting you grasped more in a day than you had in some six months, well, that serves only to show how little you know. Just the type of participant the 'promoters' spell out their offering to.

Unlike you, I know what I am doing - hope that helps.

Well said bb2,

Completely agree with everything above especially the value of Mello Derby, Absolutely great event - only slightly marred by just missing out on catching you in the bar Friday pm:-)

yasX your talking a lot of nonsense, i attended my first Mello event and learnt more in one day than i did in the previous six months. Bought ACAL and RBN on the back of their presentations and share prices in both are substantially up, also listened to wise words from several guests on how they invest and what they think will do well in the future ,hence i've bought into Bonmarche and added to a previous holding in Essenden. Not all co's impressed but being there it was clear to see which ones to avoid.
Just because davidosh is or was a holder here, which is none of my business, doesn't mean Mello events are not worthwhile to private investors.

Dave,

He (along with another by the name of PaulPilot) is busy elsewhere plugging something termed the 'Mello Event' - this is basically nothing save promotional guff from failed companies looking to raise cash and so on. But, those two seek to pretend that robust companies are reluctant to attend but only clamber aboard because of their never ending persistence. But, some deluded nuts accept this and even purchase tickets. A sure one way bet to lose money (on both the ticket and any subsequent investments). Avoid like the plague, though I concede I have yet to attend one (nor am I ever likely to), but the red flags are clear. Much to their chagrin, I exposed these events on another platform, but the promoters sought to restrict further commentary.

Back to Inditherm. Unless or until we see some evidence of the nature of the strategic options being explored. Until then, holders can only sit back and wait.

Approaching te all time low and possilby the end of the road - Has been on my watch list for very many years but I could never see a one product company building sufficient sales traction to become cash flow positive.

Management have tried hard but for the sake of shareholders they should (imo) try to sell to a larger medical devices company and distribute the proceeds to shareholders so at least they might recover a small part fo their investment. (imo etc all cautions etc apply)

The outcome of the strategic review ought to be completed by the end of the year. It all hinges on securing a partnership since they neither have the resource nor capability to go it alone.

Any idea how much these little promotion videos cost the company? They seem quite a normal way of advertising in the US - seems like they might be a cost effective method.

Feel for holders in at bigger prices, this has been ramped up on hot air over the past year or so, management have simply not delivered and never will IMO, this technology should have sold itself over the past 15 years!

I think it's a bit unfair to criticise management here (or David for that matter), as they've been pretty open, hard working and honest as far as I can see. If David has a large position and wants to exit or reduce his holding (no idea if he has), you can hardly expect him to flag it in advance.

As investors, we can see what they've got is some electrically conductive polymer sheeting, which they're trying to apply primarily in medical applications, where even heating is important, and cost not the primary driver. Of course it is up to us to see that there might be many others methods for heating, and an electrical mat with single point feedback for control might be far from optimal. The potential market size is also pretty small.

Does nothing ever change, its the same old same old twice yearly. Do we see management plunging in and buying swathes of shares at a low cost? No! Game over, sell the company and get a credible outfit to run what is fundamentally a good technology.

I hope Dion has a forceful word with management and tell them to focus 100% on increasing sales and if this means upsetting the apple cart so be it.
