Well the last Director buy was on 29/10/2006, only 11 months ago and profits have increased since....

LONDON (AFX) - IMS Maxims PLC said director Peter J Holmes has acquired
400,000 ordinary shares in the company, representing 0.16 pct, at 3.125 pence
each and now holds 2,263,332 shares, representing 0.89 pct.

Looks like a distressed seller 1m @0.55p, you could pick those up at the bid price of 0.75p or less if you were so inclined, not for me though.

Can't see any sense in putting good money after bad. They have lost all confidence, no buyers = no hope. my take is get out before the next collapse.

IMS Maxims FY pretax profit up; continues to view future with confidence


LONDON (Thomson Financial) - IMS Maxims PLC reported a more than doubling of
full-year pretax profit on increased turnover and said it continues to view the
future with confidence.
The software group reported a pretax profit of 214,000 stg compared with
67,000 stg a year ago, while turnover rose to 5.03 mln stg from 3.83 mln stg.
The company said it reduced its net debt by 797,000 stg as it continues to
manage cash tightly.
