09/9/2005 16:51 | Cheading, I am not as experienced an investor as you are. I don't read the markets, I invest in what I know. Didn't panic...upto that I had given them the use of my money for 3 years and I wasn't happy that they could be trusted with it any longer. I am sure anyone holding more than a few shares in IMX is biased in favour of seeing the price rise. But if you are going to talk it up then lets base it on the facts available - which surely at the moment make it difficult to justify talking it up. Have sat round the table with IMX mgt but wouldn't agree with the terms you use to describe them - I would use smart, crafty, survivors. Early on I thought this was a good thing....but as things get tougher I was not sure these were the qualities I liked about someone using my money. So I concluded that if this ship sinks, all I could expect from them is a wave as they leave on the lifeboats. cheers plainman | plainman
09/9/2005 15:49 | plainman So, did you panic and sell when the price fell? You may be too short term for fledging companies inventing a whole new, legislation driven, market. You could read more Buffett, "Mr Market gives you a price, you choose how to react - or not". I've bought IMX from 9p down to 3.8p. Lots, in fact, so I'm biased. (off topic did the same in Ultrasis, over 4 years, buying from 3p to 0.36. That's up 300% on my averages, six figures too). IMX I think will do the same. Have you met management? I think they're decent, driven & sensible. cheers cheading | cheading
09/9/2005 12:11 | Cheading, I got in at 10p and 6.5p and got most out at 6p so not the worst. I have been no more wronged than every else who bought in early and have seen this company under-perform despite clear market opportunities. Negatives: Little or no new business, hemoraging cash, results always 3-6 months late, damage limitation coming up to results with rush of non-news press releases. Positivies: I got most out at 6p. My main interest in posting is to offset some of the misplaced enthusiasm that you and Kemorkid show for this company. I think the ship will turn but all of us in the small boats will drown in the wash. PM | plainman
09/9/2005 11:13 | plainman You have clearly been wronged. I'm sorry for that. The less who attend an AGM, the more often I back that share "Arbitrage of ignorance". I do believe in Certifications for markets, provides barriers. I don't belie there'll be a management buy-out. What's your average price is that what this is about? I said this share is like ULT, 15 years+ in the making, £20 million+ spent, now the market is ready. Still long, all IMHO, so please DYOR. cheers cheading. | cheading
08/9/2005 18:46 | Well Cheading... by my reckoning this NTPF contract is the only new business announcement in the past 12 months. Am I wrong? Hey so why not announce it twice. I am fairly sure that it is not using MAXIMS Clinical or MAXIMS Pas so is essentially a bespoke system. In other words Contract Work (low margin). So what is happening to all of the IPR that was generated using our money? But, I hear you say, it is getting awards and is being certified... so what! What new customers are buying it? None it would appear in the past 18 months at least. What is this about attending the AGM? With respect, in my experience attending an AGM does not convey any more insight into the state or prospects for a company than reading their press releases does. I can only guess you were there on your own. What is my basis? 10 years working in healthcare business, personal knowledge of the company's products. Company held very tightly, any deal is not done in our interest but in management interest. I am surprised that they continue to get people to give them more money. Expect a Management buy-out within 12 months. We will end up with nothing! | plainman
08/9/2005 16:09 | You tell them Cheading-oh those of little faith!!! KK | kemorkid
08/9/2005 16:03 | plainman, "Going Live" dates are different from Contract awards. Your warning is NOT heeded. WHAT is the BASIS of your statement above? Not seen you at AGM's. cheers cheading. | cheading
07/9/2005 13:48 | Correction... was announced in February... Value 400K over 5 years (so circa £50K per year.... less than 2 weeks running cost. Warning stands .. recycled non-news. | plainman
07/9/2005 13:44 | Hi all, I follow this share on another bb and came accross your discussion. I have some suspicion about this recent news. Note that the deal was signed in January of this year and completed in June. It wasn't announced in January and wasn't announced in June. So why is it being announced now? Company has a habit of releasing news (non news) in the lead-up to bad results. Beware! | plainman
07/9/2005 10:38 | Check out IMX website for news on 31/08/05 about NTPF. KK | kemorkid
07/9/2005 09:08 | Cheading missed out finance-uk and n ireland from that source and it was quoting from the papers. | abubryn
07/9/2005 08:10 | post 292, first time ever seen Yahoo mentioned as a source of share info. Hopefully IMX will get an American style p/e in time. Something IS afoot. cheers cheading | cheading
06/9/2005 21:56 | The Irish Independent this morning reported that IMS Maxims has signed a deal to supply a new patient management system for the National Treatment Purchase Fund. Obviously not worthy of an RNS. | typo56
06/9/2005 17:53 | I will only consider selling my shares at 20p KK | kemorkid
06/9/2005 16:45 | been awarded contractif yahoo is to be believed. | abubryn

02/9/2005 08:02 | listen guys if you study charts rather than your oppinions you could save your selves time and money.imx made a good head and shoulders pattern if you look which is a good reversal sign | metastock2
02/9/2005 01:05 | Bill.Slygo Not been fed lies myself by IMX. Casey straight & careful. AGM's hardly packed, 2 shareholders at last years, 1 at the year before AGM. Long term hold. I rate this share like Ultrasis, quiet for 3 years then all hell breaks loose. cheers cheading. | cheading
01/9/2005 17:10 | Nay...in truth its not my bag phoning up companies anymore on account of the lies and half truths I was fed. However I did phone Casey as it happens about 18 months ago and needless to say collapse of the share price and subsequent dilution was not the impression I was left with. I am more than happy to recieve info from those who do know something or at least think that they do.............as it were. So as an honest scouse might have it. " Come-head then, whats the score...our kid eh!? PS..nice nudge today...whatever happened to Cheading? Now there is a man who could tell more than he does!!! | bill.slygo |
