ti,

Information on both was in RNS's. I met David MacDonald. In 2003 (January I think) he put in £120,000 of his own, he has sold software products at high level. The £500,000 came in at (7p?) via loan terms and was NOT from a Bank. Don't know the individual concerned, but that's not punters money. The product works alongside IBM WebSphere and (personally having just gone through IBM validation process) that's not easy to achieve. Barrier to entry.

The company IS controlling costs. NHS Planning blight is the issue. Still believe in those insiders who put in £120,000 and £500,000 at the 6/7p mark in last 24 months. They do/should know more than us. Never follow blind but I do share their optimisim.

I've bought into these shares big time on the hope of a rebound. With recent going ons in this business field, i think, with the company trying to lower spending and a stream of money coming in now from 2004 deals,IMS is on the up!!!!

Cheading, I will put ult slightly ahead of others.

BTB is only part of the reasons I bought into ULT, I strongly believe the WORK STRESS initiative is the event that will transform ULTs fortune and elevate it to sucess.
Reason: The work stress package embraces and satisfies
1.Regulatory requirment
2.legal need
3.IT based
4.user friendly and confidental
5.cost effective
6.cheap to sell, produce and support
7.continuous revenue stream
The product was produced and continue to be developed with Health executives, Trade Unions and Coorporates....

If ULT plays it well, the company will be the vendor of choice, with a bit of luck become the dominant suppler of CBT products to the faster moving WORLDWIDE CORPORATE MARKET (outside the bound of NHS slow torture).....heresay heresay....LOL!!!

I shall expect the Work Stress Package announcement soon, build up momentum in 2005 and accelerate growth in 2006....you are right patience is need here, but it will be difficult to buy large quantity of shares so cheaply later, so I am buying now.....LOL

Hate typing long post, promise myself not to do it again....LOL!!!

magsun,

Thanks. (Like ULT and DEMG, IMX is a very long termer needing changes in medical ideas to really prosper. Am v patient, some say I'll need to be.

Brian Ennis has spoken numerous times about Planning Blight, the NHS term for people not pulling their fingers out. The money is there, it's management which is lacking. The fear (tho not mine) is that IMX runs out of cash before NHS gets its act together.

Hey guys anyone seen this article before??..taken from Share Cast

IMS Maxims, the IT solutions provider to the NHS, nudged lower today after it said agreements with new local service providers would not result in an immediate uplift in trading levels, although it said it viewed 2005 with confidence.

IMS added that despite a difficult trading environment turnover should be in line with last year, while pre-amortisation operating expenses should also have shrunk.

Cheading,

Unless they reduce its cash burn, I shall not buy a single shares, there are better opporutnities elasewhere, like ult for example.

We have to agree to disagree on this one. Too risky for me, wish you luck though since you are such a nice guy, never come across a more loyal and honest investor like you....LOL!!!

maysun,

You could be right, though I don't think so. The story has improved since I was the only shareholder at 2003 AGM. David MacDonald put in £120,000 of his own at much higher price. Have you bet yet or just swimming around ?

Cheading,

This will give the company and shareholders some hope, but it doesn't help IMX short term.

#42m in seven years, mean annualised spending of 6m.
How much of it will be spent on trials, adminstration and waste?
I bet most of the actual money will be taken by the likes of IBM, how much will be left for IMX?

It will be another long drawn out costly national health project for IMX to get involve in, at the end it may even cost the company more than it will get back in sales.

If the company failed to sort out its cash short term, I will not rule out it will run out of cash and into administration.

LONDON (AFX) - IMS Maxims PLC said it is part of an alliance led by Trillium
Health Centre to develop healthcare in Canada.
Trillium's initiative is called THINK: Transforming Healthcare into
Integrated Networks of Knowledge.
Led by Trillium, with IBM acting as project manager, the alliance, which has
a budget of about 100 mln cad over seven years, includes IMS for Disease
Management Systems alongside Agfa, Cognos, Courtyard, Eclipsys, EMC and Sybase.

Un-exepected and a bonus new market.

Poster "Kemorkid" talk of receivership is previous. IBM and others wouldn't be involved if that was the case. Please stick to facts not woolly headed opinion.
