07/8/2014 16:58 | Fugwit I think you are reading it wrongly. To me it reads that revenue is still coming and merely delayed to starting later in the year. That means total rev for year will be less, as it started later.. When it says 2015 and beyond that is just referring to the recurring nature of the revenues, not that they wont finalise contracts till then. I dont think todays drop is justified and was likely caused by a few trying to get out the door at the same time. | stegrego
07/8/2014 16:45 | mjcrockett, after an umpteeth read I see you are right, they are suggesting some may close in H2 and in 2015 and beyond. "And beyond"? That is a pretty big window they are giving themselves for those "new contracts in the course of finalisation"....... At least they aren't claiming they will catch up in H2. | fugwit
07/8/2014 16:42 | Very lucky today, small loss and sorry anyone with losses larger than mine. Tried all day yesterday to sell but at 22.5p limit but to no avail. If good news would have released on 30th July so delay was a concern, hence phone call to confirm late Sept and me out at best so very lucky re 22p. So that £5k now placed at the casino on OEX Oilex, fingers crossed for better luck, but oil co's worry me a little if i am honest.Good luck all. | barnsey
07/8/2014 16:10 | I suppose it could be worse, they could release the TS at 4.29pm! However, not good and i have sold completely out and wont be back. | cfro
07/8/2014 16:09 | Fugwit, it is the third paragraph which is a bit confusing where it says: "Whilst these new revenues had been expected to contribute earlier in the year to 31 December 2014 than now is likely their impact in contributing to the development of the business remains on target and their timing slippage temporary." I take that to mean that revenue had been expected earlier in the year but now it will not start until well into the second half.....but still in 2014. Presumably the contracts generate monthly revenues. | mjcrockett
07/8/2014 15:58 | Possibly the use of the word 'disgraceful' was little much, it is off course within the rules, nonetheless I remain of the opinion that it shows a disregard by directors for PIs. A bit tricky this TU: on the one hand para 1 says they are generating new business, para 2 suggests it is from existing clients (as opposed to new ones). Then para 3 tells us that whatever new biz was in the pipeline is unlikely to close until full year 2015. So without those new contracts in H2 they have not been able to close where does one pencil in likely EPS for 2014? At the mo I am minded to revert to 2013 original guidance of 2.1p, very possibly even less with the added overheads of an expanded senior management team dragging down margins. The lumpiness is to be partly expected but disappointing after the fun of "significantly ahead" eps guidance for FY2013 back in Feb. With the jitters being experienced in the small cap market at the moment I suspect more will get rid and then ask questions as they come across the RNS especially as it seems to be taking up to 3 months to get the accounts out for circa £1.26m in revenue. Pretty miserable day for IME. | fugwit
07/8/2014 15:42 | Well timed barnsey, I guess that was your sale at 22p, at least it prompted me to sell part of my holding before the profit warning, but the rest afterwards. IME are too illiquid to hold too many imo, but releasing an afternoon profit warning is a red flag for me. So I wouldn't invest here again, and put this investment down to experience. | interceptor2
07/8/2014 15:11 | Perhaps they saw barnsey selling his shares and decided to bring the trading statement forward from tomorrow. I think the fall is a bit overdone. If H1 results are similar to last year they are still profitable and possibly still on a single figure p/e for 2014. With cash in the bank and new contracts to come I am still happy to hold. Some director buying now would help my confidence. | mjcrockett
07/8/2014 14:39 | A 2pm profit warning is disgraceful, the management will have eroded a great deal of good will amongst the investment community with such a daft move. | fugwit
07/8/2014 14:28 | Well! i was a lucky boy for once, just read the news. | barnsey
07/8/2014 14:28 | "...Overall, the combination of investments in new managers and delays in the start of new business revenues will result in operating profits for the year to 31 December 2014 that will be below market expectations." | someuwin
07/8/2014 14:26 | No profit warning,i phoned and asked when will the results be out and was told late Sept so sold a few to use money elsewhere which then started the ball rolling, two months is a long time for my money not to be earning and this is still a great investment imo may buy more later. | barnsey
07/8/2014 14:14 | Not so good. | someuwin
07/8/2014 14:02 | I don't own IME but if I did I would be asking, considering the sharp price fall this morning, how did news of the profit warning leak ?? | skyracer
07/8/2014 09:25 | Indeed. My expectation was only based on the fact they were July 30th last year. | mr angry
07/8/2014 09:22 | Results might not be until Sept or certainly late August, although i have to admit to not knowing when they might come. No small AIM shares appears immune to the malaise in the markets unfortunately. | cfro
07/8/2014 09:16 | ouch - had expected results last week, so this drop is a bit disconcerting? | mr angry
03/8/2014 18:39 | Hi cfro i do like the look of this one, looked at it a while back when a few from the S.J. board mentioned it. It looks it better shape now and on such a low multiple. Maybe tempted to buy in the morning if the results don't beat me first. A dividend would be a big plus if at all possible here. Like you say another quiet board just like my ALT thread. | battlebus2
02/8/2014 20:52 | What a difference in M&S! browsing in silence,Lunch in silence, no music in store at all no news no special offers no good vibes, void of any feel good. Big opening there for Immedia, now that would be a juicy contract, but you do notice a big difference in the retail sector re in store music compared to silence. Makes you realise there is a lot of business to gain out there in many areas. Looking forward to more progress at interims. | barnsey
02/8/2014 18:18 | Glad you had a good experience on IME's products, barnsey. Half yearly's due any day now and they should show good numbers as the last trading update was v bullish. | cfro
02/8/2014 17:09 | Market Cap £3.4million on profits of around £500,000 for 2014 if share options are to be met,we will watch and wait with interest for the outcome. The option price for all the above awards is 10.0 pence per share, which was a 9.6% premium to the closing mid-market price on 17 October 2013. Vesting of the 828,648 options granted for FY 2013 is dependent on audited profits before tax for FY 2013 exceeding (a) GBP350,000 (for directors' options) or (b) GBP250,000 (for all other qualifying staff options). Vesting of the 478,065 options granted for FY 2014 is dependent on audited profits before tax for FY 2014 exceeding GBP475,000. | barnsey
02/8/2014 16:54 | Like this co and now holding a few shares, called in local HSBC branch and while waiting for my wife found a seat and enjoyed the music and news updates and all the latest HSBC news, nice in store vibes so asked staff how they found the music station and they loved it,in fact one said she could not live without it so well done Immedia. | barnsey
28/7/2014 10:18 | Very quiet here! :0)) Ticking up, results this week? Chart is a joy to behold. Beautiful consolidation period: | cfro
23/5/2014 11:28 | Are there any new forecasts here? Im still pulling up their old forecasts of eps of 3p. Pe still only eight even against this, so alot more to go for here imo. | cfro |
