22/5/2014 10:36 | I wonder if anyone is going to the AGM who can give us some feedback? | cfro
22/5/2014 10:16 | The 2014 Annual General Meeting will be held at the Company's Newbury offices on 22 May 2014. Details can be found in the Notice of Annual General Meeting 2014 which was sent to shareholders with the company's 2013 annual report on 10 April 2014. - See more at: hxxp://www.immediapl The above is from the company website, AGMs normally start at about 10:00, so I guess you might be a little late now fugwit. I don't normally attend AGMs because I live in France, but this one sounds interesting, because I would have a few questions about today's announcement. | interceptor2
22/5/2014 09:13 | I also overlooked the AGM, I can't find reference to it in recent RNS, can you tell me what time it is although doubt will be able to get there now. I believe the Justin Lello hire a few months back will be pivotal to this new direction, I would have thought margins would be improved with this line of business although details are obviously vague and not helped to much by the RNS today. Curiously the Silk Route CEO suggests he stopped working there in Feb 2013 according to his Linkedin profile. | fugwit
22/5/2014 09:04 | Yep i thought the news looked interesting too ic2. I have to admit though to doing some research on Silk Route, as i didnt have a clue what they were talking about in the RNS this morning. :-/ Thanks for the reminder of the AGM too which i had forgotten about. IME is a really exciting little company with some great prospects. | cfro
22/5/2014 08:36 | Interesting partnership agreement announced today with Silk Route, who have an exciting use for smart phones in retail stores. Could be the result of the appointment of Prakash Piller as IT manager last month. Silk Route's clients include Tesco, GAME and Tommy Hilfiger. Richard Corps, so maybe some cross selling opportunities for IME, as well as Silk route with the IME client list. BTW, IME hold their AGM today, they don't usually release a trading update with the AGM, but worth bearing in mind in case they decide to this year. | interceptor2
16/5/2014 13:59 | Done exactly what i said i would do and stepped in and made a brave buy late this morning. Buyers moving back in again now... | cfro
16/5/2014 09:12 | It is silly selling at these levels imo. A very illiquid company that can go in either direction.....very quickly! One of the few shares in todays markets where i have a strong conviction on. I would like to add to my holdings, so will be looking for the right moment here. | cfro
16/5/2014 08:29 | Someone selling pound coins for 50p each.... | stegrego
15/4/2014 19:01 | I was going to crunch some numbers and try and work out what the earnings might be for 2014. But it is a little to early into the new financial year to start to speculate, best to await a trading update or the next interim results imo. I will take comfort from the fact that the strong performance in the fourth quarter, would seem to have continued into Q1 looking at todays news. | interceptor2
15/4/2014 13:12 | Max buy quote 10,000 shares (£3000) | someuwin
15/4/2014 12:48 | Long term contract wins with the like of... Superdrug LLoyds HSBC SPAR Urban Decay IKEA Top Shop etc Show they are in with the big players. Plenty of scope for rolling out their new solutions in marketing and commerce. | someuwin
15/4/2014 12:40 | In the prelims they spoke of providing services to eleven new brands and of an improved pipeline of new business. With the confidence shown in todays news I think we will see very good growth in 2014. With such a small market cap it won't take much to have a very significant affect on the share price. | someuwin
15/4/2014 12:23 | senior hires suggest growth is coming through which I assume means that earnings will grow from 3p so the PE is lower in reality? | yamba
15/4/2014 12:17 | Moving nicely now...:0) I added a few more earlier. No new and updated forecasts are yet available, so if we just use the eps figure of 3p, then the shares trade on a historic pe of only nine. | cfro
15/4/2014 11:44 | Only 4 million shares available... Total shares in issue 14,556,844 Shares not in public issue 10,625,740 (73%) Shares in public issue 3,931,104 (27%) | someuwin
15/4/2014 11:03 | maybe they should be speaking to Proxama PROX.L who are an emerging player in mobile loyalty? | yamba
15/4/2014 10:50 | I took the Justin Lello hire back in Jan as a hopefully good indication of a future mobile development direction. Today's announcements add weight to to my assumptions about this firm. There are other aspects of retail in store marketing they could move into which could increase revenues from current clients whilst helping to attract new ones. This years hires must be adding a fair bit of overhead, will be interesting to see if sales improvements come through by the interims, and effect on margin etc. Interesting times. | fugwit
15/4/2014 10:17 | "expansion into new sectors and technology." "...a number of agreed strategic relationships" "We are also offering additional solutions in marketing and commerce and developing new channels to communicate in new sectors to new audiences." "Adam will be responsible for developing an enhanced range of digital hardware and network installation and maintenance services for the delivery of audio, video, combined rich media and mobile commerce." The key term here is "mobile commerce"!! Also the RNS says that Adam joins from Peter Jones' Data Select where he was Associate Director of Business Operations. I wonder if one of the new strategic relationships is with Peter Jones' company (he certainly has a lot of retail connections!) | someuwin
15/4/2014 10:09 | Today's announcement is hugely positive imo. | someuwin
15/4/2014 09:48 | Very very interesting. This is a company that has really sat on costs, as per the restructuring last year. I can only assume that they are very happy with the pipeline for them to commit to these senior hires. In the past they have not named or highlighted contract wins because of confidentiality clauses so it's hard to get a real feel for the progress they are making. This feels like a giant clue and a hugely positive one at that. BB just would not take these guys on unless he knew they had plenty to do! | yamba
15/4/2014 08:31 | Good extract cfro, shows that their trading has remained buoyany into the new year imo. And still way under the radar, Daniel Stewart still haven't updated their estimates. DS old estimate for 2014 was EPS 3.00p, which IME have already achieved in 2013, so even being ultra conservative I would have thought a starting point for the current year would be EPS 3.5p ? Putting IME on a PER of 7 at 24.75p. Might do some number crunching later when I have the time. | interceptor2
15/4/2014 08:02 | A couple of new appointments. This bit caught my attention: "Adam and Prakash join the Immedia team as the demand is high for brands to implement multi sensory experiences and further reach customers using digital technologies." | cfro
28/3/2014 09:53 | Natwest Stockbrokers show the date of the latest forecast. For Immedia the figures are dated 3rd March 2014. So I presume Daniel Stewart would have issued some sort of note around that time in which they left the previous forecasts unchanged. It is interesting to note with Immedia that the vesting of the 2014 Options in the company's EMI share scheme are dependent on PBT exceeding £475,000 i.e. almost 10% higher than the current broker forecast. So the management have some incentive to beat forecasts. See the details at | mjcrockett
28/3/2014 09:27 | ic2, thanks for the welcome & eps clarification. All of my figures are from stock--o---pedia 2014 broker forecasts currently displayed eps 3p Net Profit £438K This is one of the hardest things i find with investing, understanding what figures / forecasts are up-to-date & those which are not. Bit of a minefield. Would appreciate thoughts & guidance. Regards, jakedog2 | jakedog2 |
