01/12/2008 21:49 | Good point. I suppose we wait until they list again (likely to be a very long time). Someone decides to buy imate or they go under. There is one advantage; I no longer have to log onto ADVFN only to see this company on the top losers list anymore. | dreamsurfer141
01/12/2008 21:13 | What happens if you still hold shares in this company?? | bazzer7
14/11/2008 10:49 | Who knows. Might even be worth something in years to come (unlikely). Remember Apple? (bad comparison, but hey, I can dream! lol) | geoffcapes

10/11/2008 19:34 | DS141 - Your shares are not worthless, they still have some value and when the delist they will still have value. Unfortunately being a private company, it will be costly trying to sell them (and you will have to find someone to sell them to) I don't believe there will be anything nasty attached, but I will scan the articles and let you know if there is anything. Not a holder tho' gg | greengiant
10/11/2008 19:29 | Relations with Shareholders The Company encourages dialogue with both its institutional and private investors and responds promptly to all questions verbally or in writing. The Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Financial Officer are the principal spokesmen for the Company and attend meetings with analysts and institutional shareholders throughout the year. The Annual General Meeting is used as an opportunity to communicate with private investors, as is the Company's website (www.imate.com) which includes Company announcements, information on the Group's activities and products and details of the Company's share price. All shareholders have at least 21 days' notice of the Annual General Meeting. | dreamsurfer141
10/11/2008 19:24 | Thanks gg; simple as that, they are on imate's site! I have been skimming through it but it unfortunately doesn't make much sense to me. I suppose my concerns are that the shares aren't worthless and that there aren't any nasty surprises attached to them. I accept that they will be virtually impossible to trade. Also, how will Jim Morrison and others communicate with its private shareholders? I suppose all will become clear in the next 8 days... | dreamsurfer141
10/11/2008 15:53 | Can't be tarded. GM2, your analysis of Companies Act is wrong. Please can you quote exactly where you believe the CA refers to the following: "CORPORATE LAW.THERE HAS TO BE A MINIMUM IN FREE FLOAT /JIM MORRISON,S WILL BE UNDONE,HE,S NOT THAT BRIGHT HE NEEDS OURS AND INSTITUTIONS STOCK OR HE WONT BE GOING PRIVATE.UNLESS 25P+" If you find the section, please tell me, because I must have fallen asleep at that particular section of my Company Law lectures. gg | greengiant
