03/12/2008 08:24 | Oldish news I know but a small write up about the deal: Shareholders in HR Owen, the listed upmarket car dealership, will vote on a £10m property transaction tomorrow morning that could give the American Embassy a plush new home. | walker10
04/11/2008 18:08 | I wonder if we will become a small part of Porsches ambitions - since their debarcal over the hedgies and the takeover of VW, which of course owns Bentley which as we know own 28% of HRO,after all they could afford to with small change after one of the biggest share killings of all time, just maybe some will trickle down to little old HRO. Maybe Shelton Corporation also thinks so hence their recent share buying. I wouldnt rule anything out with Porsche just ask the hedgies. | walker10
04/11/2008 13:30 | I wonder whats going on here then Shelton Corporation now owns 17% + Bentleys 28% = 45%. Is something brewing ? | walker10

02/11/2007 09:29 | Third floor. In my dreams last night I did! As for used cars. I Called a couple of their dealerships and asked if they where buying. Cheque book was firmley closed. There was a fire sale on used cars. May be different now. It hardly matters as I only went short in my dreams so the new Lambo or Ferrari will have to wait | refusenish
01/11/2007 20:30 | Id say HR Owens used car stock is minimal. A tiny fraction of the company's value. Has to be another reason. | thirdfloor

Ahead of those results the Company issues the following update. The Company is pleased to be able to report that, following an exceptional trading performance from its specialist division, the results for the first half of the year will be significantly ahead of expectations.
