JPH,

If it does they may seek entry to the UK market via established dealers which could liven this sector up even more.

codoctor,

There is life out there! Glad to hear of your success stories - I have picked some real duffers of late. Torotrak is my most spectacular, I went to an IMechE lecture where they presented their transmission. It was so beautiful I had to go and buy some shares! Did well at first but has gone from £5 high to current 30p. Hoping it may pick up if one of the big car co's take it on.

HRO seems to have come back to about it's highest, as you said, and I don't see any reason not to stay with it. There has been some feeling that the end of the block exemption for car dealerships may attract foreign players in the UK market - any comment?

JPH,

Yes me and in at the same price and the same time.

Excellent results today but obviously met with a lot of profit taking although the volume of shares traded does'nt show this yet.

I did extremely well with Pendragon and am still in Lookers with a near 50% increase and a juicy divi. Will stay with HRO as I think it will settle down later today and start to move up again.

Why no interest here in this particular company? It is the only emerald in the sea of rubies that comprise my portfolio - bought about 12 months ago @ £1.22, currently £1.75 and a 5p dividend every 6 months. Not the most meteoric of rises - but pretty solid. Any other holders out there?
