(CMP) which holds mineral concessions at the Paguanta silver-lead-zinc-cop Completion under the Proposed Transaction was due to take place no later than 4 July 2016, however due to delays with the flow of information; the parties have agreed to extend the date of completion to no later than 29 July 2016. On that date, the Company announced they had entered into a transaction ("Proposed Transaction") with Golden Rim Resources (ASX:GMR) under which the Company will sell all of the issued shares in Paguanta Resources (Chile) SA ("PRC"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Herencia. 08/6/2016 10:17 | ".....This has been further complicated with legal input required under English, Australian and Chilean law, all of which has extended the time required to complete the due diligence and final signing.".Oh dear.Irritating points of law designed to protect the interests of shareholders amongst other considerations I guess.Maybe it would have been easier if the management had sold the Paguanta interests at a car boot sale. | steeplejack

03/6/2016 21:40 | 28 days is extendable by mutual agreement, but I expect there would be an announcement to that effect. Alternatively the deal goes ahead or folds: "Subject to Formal Agreements being signed, it is intended that completion of the Proposed Transaction will take place within 5 business days after all Conditions (see below) have been satisfied or waivered, or on such other date agreed to by the parties but not later than 4 July 2016." | steelwatch

02/6/2016 19:03 | Brutus:There is a tide in the affairs of men.Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;Omitted, all the voyage of their lifeIs bound in shallows and in miseries. On such a full sea are we now afloat,And we must take the current when it serves,Or lose our ventures.Julius Caesar Act 4, scene 3, 218224And subsequently the poor decision to fight at Philippi was made and Brutus perished. There was a time that Herencia genuinely looked like a good punt. With the benefit of hindsight however, one can now appreciate that Bohm standing down represented a pivotal point. It was wishful thinking after that HER (with someone like Sloane at the helm) could defy the downward spiral of small exploration mining companies in a malevolent economic climate. What the management have done is milk the old girl to the bitter end to pay their salaries.Even Cassius had the dignity to ultimately fall on his sword. | steeplejack
02/6/2016 13:49 | Maryn - GS goes earliest of End of June or when a replacement is found. Lets hope its Coco the clown | ryan83 |
