I note that a number of small oilers are up today including BLVN, HDY, PELE, SLE, SQZ. Any chance that there is good bad news coming and that all of these companies are up on the back of bad news –> Iran is once again threatening to block the straight of Hormuz?

the next bit of news, that we are (I am) waiting for is just how big their latest gas field is going to be, although they only have 10% of it.....10% of a lot, is still a lot. We just have to wait for all the DGH bods to get on board/up ship then they can make the anoucncment. My feeling is that as the price has been going up in the last month that the news will be good, just got to sit tight and wait....

i have a medium position here but only got in on someone else's say so- its not a company i have followed to be honest. Can anyone suggest what the near term catalysts are that we are waiting for or is this just "cheap"?

i make it....

1 TCF -Trillion cubic feet, would be about 165 million barrels of oil energy equivalent

so 30% of that or 300 bcf would be approx 45-50 million barrels


10 million cubic feet a day = around 1665 boepd
so 3.5 million cubic feet per day i make it to be around 500 barrel oil equiv per day.

not that much in the grand scheme of things

Well that was a bit of a damp squib this morning....I thought that there was going to be an RNS, following Fridays jump in price. Maybe we have to let a few more from the DGH top up with some more, before it is public. Or am I just too synical for this game.

Been tracking HDY for a couple of months
Can't buy in now as I am on holiday in the Med

seems to me Hardy is being squeezed out by BP with regard to D6 and D9 though D3 was always the better proposition...150m for 3% though..thats assuming a lot in my view
