More than half way through the month and still no sign of accounts or any further information.
I'm guessing that they'll leave it right till the 31st.
I know they said August, and that can mean any time in August, but it doesn't look good if they put it off till the last possible minute IMHO.

Let's hope that debt reduction works for GRPH then!

I will add that there has been a major change in the markets, companies are no longer valued for taking on risk but by how little debt they have.

Enterprise Value is a dead duck. Shot by the credit squeeze arising from risk off banking.

There is at least one Aim company, BLVN which not only has assets, but has more cash than its market caputal.

I understand that Leeds, all I'm saying is that whilst they maybe progressing the business behind the scenes that is basically all they do. PR is the very last thing on any to do list. Many other companies manage to do this and run a business.

There are no bondholders Rob.There are no options. The company is owned by the shareholders. The CEO owns 25%.Other directors are heavily invested too.I am sanguine about the shares taking a trading holiday until the proposed disposals are agreed. For an insight as to how the bondholders and the market treats companies who have issued bonds which they cannot redeem see GKP or XEL.

I notice that the RNS mentions the "primary reason" for delay. I take it there are other reasons as well which they aren't telling us about. As valid a reason as they suggest for the delays, what is undeniable is that shareholders come a very long way down any pecking order!

"Hi Leedskier,

Just found your thread.

Have been interested in graphene since reading an article in the Times last summer.
"The new wonder product".Seems to me a game changing product, but how do PI's get invested.?
I did read that the UK have 60 patents on graphene but China has over 2000 !!!

Graphene has the potential to change all our lives to the same extent as the discovery of iron and steel.Totally mind blowing.

fieldhouse"

Did your life change when you got invested in graphene fieldhouse? Mind blowing.

No contact from me post suspension.

Scomi filed it's annual general report 2 days ago. GRPH's platdrill and water treatment products were front and centre.

FY2016. We are cautiously optimistic to receive more
awards as oil prices stabilise. In addition, our current order
book stands at over USD1.0 billion, providing us with
revenue visibility for the upcoming financial year.
In spite of prevailing market conditions, the Company
has made significant progress with its new and efficient
products. PlatDrill R, a green base oil was successfully
tested in an offshore field in Myanmar. It passed tests on
toxicity, heavy metal, biodegradability, skin irritation and
static sheen. It also achieved an average of 35% faster rate
of penetration. With these positive results, PlatDrill R could
be introduced further into other drilling campaigns in
Myanmar and other regions.
Together with a partner, the Company has also produced
new graphene-engineered lubricant products – Confi-
Graph Lube and HyPR-Graph Lube – for drilling fluids.
Confi-Graph Lube is a revolutionary proprietary
blend of green lubricant synthetised with graphene
nanotechnology designed to deliver increased torque
reduction and wear protection for tubulars and rig
equipment while remaining environmentally friendly.
HyPR-Graph Lube is designed for use in aqueous systems
to deliver high grade lubrication in drilling applications
where environmental constraints preclude the use of
hydrocarbon-based lubricants. SESB also developed Opta
Solve, a custom-designed acid precursor breaker system
that provides optimal filter cake and formation damage
removal.

Tomorrow is the last trading day in July. Has anyone been in touch with the company to find out what is going on?

We still have 8 reporting days left before the end of the month. I doubt the share price will be the same as when suspended though. This share has surprised me in the past and I expect that to continue. Up or down - it's your guess.

I find the fact that the company has failed to state a particular publication date for the report most unsettling. They do not in fact even state that publication will be in July - only that it is "expected" in July.

So here we are, the 19th of July, 21 days on and still no news or updates.

So are we to believe that it is simply that the company hadn´t enough time to compile, complete and publish it´s audited accounts from the year ending in December ?

Ofcourse not, so has something cropped up in it´s accounts ? It seems likely, and does this have anything to do with Najib Razak and the state fund 1 Malaysia Development Bhd (a.k.a 1MDB) and the evidence of potential corruption that government investigators have discovered ?

Or is it a "going concern " problem re the books as they have identified a hole in the accounts ?

Whatever the reason, it´s all very strange and very worrying and I can´t stop the feeling that our investment here might be worthless.

Let´s hope not but as the days pass without any update, my fears for our money invested in this company continue to grow.

Article from the ft.com dated 29th June.

Slim prospect

Nano by name, nano by nature, writes Kate Burgess. Shares in Graphene Nanochem are close to a tenth of their price in 2013. And now the Alternative Investment Market has suspended shares in the maker of the atom-thick carbon material said to be stronger than steel and lighter than paper.

Graphene Nanochem’s itinerant Malaysia-based bosses have not filed full-year accounts in time to meet Aim’s six-month deadline. It is just one of the five junior market companies with December year-ends that were suspended on Wednesday.

Graphene, discovered a decade ago by pointy heads at Manchester University, has a better record than most for raising and then dashing investor hopes. Graphene Nanochem has been edging towards full commercial use of the wonder material in the oil industry as a drill lubricant. But debt — which was restructured in April — is not far off the £17m value of its equity. Its shares will remain suspended until its accounts are filed.

Graphene may be super light, super strong and super flexible but it is still far from a super investment.

I will give a positive view of the delay, the negatives are clear for all and I don't want to be seen as a basher ( to quote Leedskier) just a realist rather than a fantasist or ramper, this may not be right or even close, it is however plausible. . . . .

If the refinancing and sale of assets as stated in Aprils RNS has been completed, (it could be happening now) then it is possible that the underlying accounts for the year and I doubt they will look good, together with clear and transparent forward guidence through this year will enable clarity and transparency, consequently confidence/trust by Panmanure Gorden and investors in the company will be restored . . .

I hope for this outcome or a similar positive one for all who have skin in the game ,

Teresa for PM . . . For England , Harry , and St George . . . Just goes to show that a vote that realy counts is what the establishment are always avoiding . . . . . Rather like shareholder votes . . . .

So Leedskier is very relaxed, just plausable deniability that he has any clue what is happening . . .

Well let me tell you I 'believe him' . . . .

In fact I'm going to nominate him as the Jeremy Corbyn of the bulletin board community . . .

But look , this is his world, it may not be real, it is however his reality. . . Bless him

I have not communicated with or received any communication from the company since the RNS was posted.

I had no prior notice that an RNS was to be posted yesterday.

I have neither bought or sold any shares in this company in the last month.

I thought the RNS facility was designed to explain company developments to the genera market so it is a crying shame it wasn't used to highlight the problems which faces the company. At least it would have offered some explanation rather than a shareholder having to email the company for news to convey to others. Humph!!!
