TA,
I think we'll just have to wait and see, but it's good to have you views and input again mate.

At least now there is reason for a little more optimism eh Jack? :)

Well that's me, off out again.

I agree Jack, it would be a big price, but just throwing these figures into the pot for discussion. Casino.co.uk's business is more than a portal though - mobile deals, mobile players, poker players, players on other white labels...

£10m seems a lot, TA, for an unloved portal. Casino has fallen from its no. 1 pinnacle on Google and is off the radar screens on Yahoo. (Not moaning Bengo - I remember you're nifty with a lump hammer!)

On the other hand, maybe they will get £10m for the casino.co.uk brand and gambling.com will make £2m this year with US punters actively searching for any companies willing to take them on.

In that case £15m in the bank and a profit of £2m could see a market cap of £30-£40m by the end of the current financial year. I agree with scburbs, visibility is really poor.

Any guesses to potential buyers of the UK gambling business? There are a number of cash rich OLG's looking to make acquistions in Europe at present. Can smell the stench of a tasty bidding war in the air!

quotes4u - really too difficult to call I think.

Depends on what they get for the casino.co.uk brand. If they get £5m, they will have £10m in the bank to support the price. The market cap would be based on cash and expected gambling.com profit. What can we expect from gambling.com this year given the drop in US advertisers? £1m pre-tax?

Excellent statement and well worth a move way beyond 6p due to cash and anticipated cash from disposals. However, future earnings visibility is very opaque. Has anyone seen any revised forecasts.

The key point is what are they going to do with the cash. If they sell the mobile gaming they are selling off what many thought would be the future crown jewels. This may start to limit the upside once we move towards 10p unless the company makes a good earnings enhancing acquisition.

I think the praise will come Bengo, but only if and when they pull off their plans. At the moment it really is just a strategy plan, albeit a good one I think. It's the way they execute the strategy over the coming months that will bring the real praise from most investors.

Things will begin to get clearer when they publish end of year results in November. Hopefully, by then we will have some better idea of how gambling.com is doing as well as the potential interest being show in the casino.co.uk sale.

Only just got in and read TU, like a lot of others I'm still down on my investment, however I'm very pleased that I held and will continue to do so.

Under the recent and current circumstances I think that the management has handled itself very well.

I also agree with Outside, there is too much negativity on this thread, people are quick to criticize and yet reluctant to praise the company/management.

Onwards and upwards :)

Don't think the new epic is decided yet. Could get another statement later today if the name change gets voted through ok. Will then know the date and possibly the new epic. I'll get a thread up on that board when we know.

"...accelerate the growth of the media and advertising business further".

I would hazard a guess this would mean translating gambling.com into different European and Asian languages to attract new customers. This is precisely what PRTY are going to be doing.

I'm still very much down too 55% coincidentally but though figures were good that was pre 2/10. No mention yet that I could see what will bring in future guaranteed profits. The expected cash generating mobile business appears to be no longer the companies future, and that was carrying part of the earlier months euphoria (remember the halcyon 13p days).
Gambling.com as far as I can see is showing erratic popularity mostly weekends so income will be down a lot I fear, and yet no mention of an European push to widen its media coverage. Perhaps we have to await what Shares Weekly, Inv.Chr. and FT to make suitable comment. I reckon it will be a hold recommendation but not for the faint hearted.

Well, have to agree the boys have pulled the rabbit from the hat. Shame to loose the gaming assets as one day again these will be priceless, but with the gaming tag finally gone along with some well choosen acquisitions, gmc could do very well from here on.

I would suggest that a few sellers will appear on the rise, then after they have cleared, we will start moving up again, maybe 6.25p bid? at the end of today.

Our best hope is for a bidding war on the UK gambling business. Surely the Orange and Vodafone contracts have got to be worth several million £££.
