22/10/2006 20:41 | This share could be a buy. The on-line gaming industry is in disarray following the US debacle. The problem is we don't know where the management are leading us. They should be taking advantage of the opportunity, but there is no word from them. Very strange! Even no word from The Analyst......... | jackthetrader

21/10/2006 22:15 | Thanks Ygor and yes, not brilliant or on par with A Bolton Esq (Fidelity SS Fund) but initial investigations on the portfolio are proving interesting. Now examining the level of holdings to see how far KP goes with her investments. Note she has been with HIT for 12years! | crossfingers
21/10/2006 12:56 | 'Who are Herald Investment Trust?' Managed by the hapless Katie Potts, this dog fund of smaller media companies has managed to underperform its benchmark by a wide margin over 1, 3 and 5 years. Good sell signal if she's buying. See here for appalling performance stats: | ygor
21/10/2006 12:12 | Who are Herald Investment Trust? Can anyone kindly give some detail; a month ago on a reader posted a bit of detail on this board, but are they MBO specialists? Known for takeovers, any clues regarding acting for other parties? You have to ask why they are stake building in a company which is not performing share wise irrespective of the US Bill. They now hold 12.6m shares or 4odd % just 2% behind JD. At these prices which will go lower undoubtedly as 4.50 has been touched they are bound to buy more: or are they responsible for pushing price down? Any clues anyone? Does anyone think it would be of benefit for GMC to make shares slightly less liquid and volatile by, say, reducing share nos.by offering 1 shares for 100 present shares? Keen to know others thoughts! | crossfingers

20/10/2006 17:35 | Its a buy You can sometimes buy at mid price or below. The times my trades have been reported as sells when I have made purchases, I have lost count. | outsider
20/10/2006 17:00 | Both Smile and Thisismoney sharedealing service state it's a sell. Normally at such a late time these numbers seen are indeed offloading. GMC is becoming a titanic sinking rapidly. | crossfingers

Has anyone done any real indepth research in to the drummonds and their business methods. on the surface it appears that unless you are fortunate to be invited in at ground level its very difficult to make money. they seem to have done very nicely judging by jasons personel wealth. | moneymaker6
20/10/2006 15:38 | He does get it wrong paulo but unlike me he's wealth enough to carry it. What's worse I talked my wife into investing, what a mistake that was. Every day I get gbh of the ear. The only way I could keep her quiet was to agree underwrite her loss. I need a drink. | mickeyskint |
