17/6/2008 12:01 | If this was a popular thread you would have many theories to answer your question. It seems as though the stock is being walked down over the past few days even though there are consistently more buys than sells. There could be a large buy order waiting to be filled (at a lower price than current) or a large sell in the offing! Either way I am losing money daily and will more than likely top up if it reaches 800p. | dvarty
16/6/2008 16:25 | What's up with this stock? | acidic lou
12/6/2008 19:50 | dvarty - I prefer it that way! When it gets busy you know its getting close to sell. | acidic lou
11/6/2008 09:21 | Acidic Lou Thanks for the link. Its a pity this board isnt a bit more active. Agriculture & food production is the 'new oil' and good old Genus has a lot more upside yet as it approaches an ALT! | dvarty
10/6/2008 12:49 | For any of you guys who don't read the city rag 'City AM', good piece on Genus here: | acidic lou
14/5/2008 14:30 | Well done A2584728 I have loads too acquired at the end of the FMD outbreak a few years ago. Have done very very well for me. Its difficult to see where they can go next on their own unless they can develop the porcine side a bit more. Monsanto take over would make a lot of sense for Monsanto and make their business more rounded and could be good for Genus Scientists and products with Monsanto's global infrastructure giving easy access to some markets where Genus have minimal penetration. Lets hope they get on with it quickly if there is any truth in the rumours-- lets have the end game and exit point on this one!! | dvarty
13/5/2008 14:28 | And talking to me too, I have loads and am looking for at least 1200, great company and well managed. | a2584728
12/5/2008 17:25 | Aha Monsanto!! The Company, together with its subsidiaries, is a global provider of agricultural products for farmers. Has been doing very well for the past 3 years and appears to be cash rich. Genus would be a good aquisition. Talking to myself again. | dvarty
12/5/2008 17:10 | Thats good! They can have mine for £18.00. Who is this american Company? | dvarty
