03/3/2017 07:31 | £56m was the estimate after their January update...so they are well up on the estimates prior to that. | nurdin
03/3/2017 07:23 | The consensus forecast for revenue was £56m so they have't beat that by a significant amount. My guess is that the market will be a little bit disappointed. Now watch the price rocket :) | glaws2
03/3/2017 07:22 | What is impressive to me (and I am a silent bear!) is that that level of performance has been achieved with just around 340,00 active customers. Now, I dont know what the size of their addressable market is, but I suspect they are barely scratching the surface! | nurdin
03/3/2017 07:19 | Superb T.U. I had 56m recently upgraded consensus pencilled in - slightly above which is excellent + indication profits also to be slightly ahead of upgraded forecasts. Growth in Europe and rest of the world exceptional. With Germany added the 79m rev and eps 11.5 forecast for 2018 looks very conservative indeed. Watch for upgrades in due course. I love it when companies get set a pattern of beating forecasts on a regular basis. Whether it will take off today I'm not sure - possible profit taking, but hopefully might present a short term window for me to top up if it does. jozo | jozo
03/3/2017 07:14 | Fantastic trading update. | ksharlandjiev
03/3/2017 07:04 | I had factored in £55m revenue so outperform as dad as I'm concerned and profits marginally ahead.Scandinavian growth very good but probably a very low base. I hope they match it in Germany | croasdalelfc
02/3/2017 16:14 | If web site hits are a good proxy for sales, that would imply around a 25% increase for Jan/Feb 2017 sales compared to a year earlier, a slight dropping off the growth rate compared to recent trading updates. | bestace
02/3/2017 12:25 | That's very impressive research - excellent that website visits have held up and even increased post-Christmas, which one would expect to be a quiet time. | cbootle
02/3/2017 12:16 | Been doing some research ahead of tomorrow. Not sure how well this will come out but on the key UK website search statistics: Gear4music.com hits 393087 Nov 15 404864 Nov 16 381213 Dec 15 481055 Dec 16 361018 Jan 16 485589 Jan 17 418866 Feb 16 488062 Feb 17 So Nov-Dec 15 average c387k hits, Jan-Feb 16 c389k hits Nov-Dec 16 average c442k hits, Jan-Feb 17 c486k hits So website hits have increased Jan-Feb by 10% this FY vs less than 1% last FY. As long as website conversion holds up bodes well for UK revenue for the final 2 months (which was c61% of sales in previous 4 months). I started looking at other countries but hit my 10 search a day limit. France and Germany had a big jump in searches for Gear4music.com between Nov-Dec 16 that has then held up well: France: 2661 Nov 16, 9111 Dec 16, since around 7.5k-8k. Germany: 866 Nov 16, 3844 Dec 16. Forgot to note figures since. I got stopped out at the point I was going through French and German searches for .fr and .de, it would have taken me quite a while to get through all of them but I would guess Sweden is a key country hence the distribution centre. I was a bit new to using Semrush and noticed there are separate paid and 'organic' numbers, most of the UK traffic was organic but for others it varied quite heavily on a monthly basis. If anyone could merge the organic and paid searches for other countries and let us know the numbers here using their own personal 10 searches it would be most appreciated! Hope this helps Alphabeta | alphabeta4
