Just keep an eye on this CGH share price ...The Chinese are now buying directly in CGH and the share price is responding accordingly. I think CGH is going to come in for a bid from a friendly suitor which may yet give us hope......

Well chaps after years of frustration with FTO one of the boards suggested I look at AFC on AIM. I bought in at 9p and now they are 40p. Thank you FTO I would never have found this gem otherwise

I wouldn't get too carried away exel...the whole gas sector shot up the other day with investment controls from Beijing been relaxed. Mainland investors can now invest directly in Hong Kong market.....

But glad this bb is still open....nice to drop by and keep an eye on things...:-)

Thanks Del, for your neat reminder that we may still receive that which many have said was a total 'no chance'. Any well-funded party with designs on CGH will be looking at pricing & timing - as CGH seems destined to not become cheaper to buy, with the passage of yet more time. ex

As a certificates holder...I received my cheque today. Will bank it tomorrow and hopefully get a good exchange rate converting it back into €'s......
As for reinvestment ideas? Have been watching GKP for over 2 years and each time they fell I was sorry I had no available funds to invest, only to be glad I had no funds to invest..:-)
£4.50p high down to a low of 33p recently but for a reason.....
Still, they are a real gamble (not investment) at this price and if the cheque clears quickly, I might just have a punt on them with some profit from FTO....
Good luck to all. Will keep an eye here as the LSE board got pulled quickly...

Barclays Stockbrokers have cleared my 10p initial consideration overnight, so it showed up in my accounts first thing this morning. Nice!! Now watching CGH closely, for at least 12 months!! - pleased to see BSL still listing my holdings, with NIL present value, as a neat aide memoire on their system, just in case the CVR does pay out.
