23/8/2016 07:18 | CHINA GAS HOLD (00384.HK) -0.300 (-2.290%) Short selling $5.17M; Ratio 53.768% announced in relation to the appeal for the legal proceedings initiated against the company by Li Xiao Yun and Xu Ying, two former directors with regards to their option shares. On 18 August 2016, the Court of Final Appeal did not give leave to the company to appeal against the judgment. This court action has therefore concluded. The company will pay the full Judgment sum of HK$279 million plus interest and costs of the trial, the appeal and the applications for leave to appeal. The total interest accrued up to and including 22 February 2016 is approximately HK$83.7720 million. | del44 | |

02/4/2016 08:17 | as we are now just over a year on from our march 2015 exit from Fortune Oil, and as CGH has not (yet) been taken over, it would seem that this is the end of the road, here. with what has happened to the oil price since those far off days of our 'fascination with Fortune', am guessing that this outcome was something of a 'least bad' blessing in disguise, much as it didn't feel like that at the time. ex | exel | |
