24/10/2002 00:16 | Sub £1 on the cards soon - time to top up again. | reetus
22/10/2002 18:48 | Well it appears the share price has fallen below the price that Legal & General purchased their 3% stake at on 17/10/02. | reetus
19/10/2002 00:50 | RAGINGCAT, Agreed, actions of the FATCATS disgusting. Should be fired not awarded options. Even better when a firm, re-prices Options when the share price falls. FTF are accomplishing the same effect here. Sorry can't help not a shareholder. | airrage
18/10/2002 08:33 | Two directors were granted share options at 115 pence. one 150000 another 300000. for what? for giving profit warnings! Is the institutional shareholders have got any brains or not. Do these people just guive profit warning s and share prce goes down then they award themselves options at cheap prices. There has to be some regulation to stop these guys rewarding them. They should actually be sacked! Lets have uyour opinions guys and bombatd the institutions for their in activity. | ragingcat
16/10/2002 14:51 | Sold out my remaining holding today @120.6. Overall made 25% in a week, not to be sneezed at in todays mkt and with the risk of further fallout or Fidelity selling out more, can't see a huge upside from here with a lot of turnover having been made at about 100P, a lot of people will be taking profits near these levels. good luck holders | airrage
11/10/2002 19:31 | Looks like Fidelity have reduced thier holding from 9.10% to 7.89%. | reetus
10/10/2002 00:43 | A few 'VW' (Volume Weighted Average Price) trades appearing today as well. Apparently they are transactions that was effected at a price based on a volume weighted average price over a given period. Could either be buys/sells, who knows? | reetus
09/10/2002 18:02 | Don't think they'll be back down to 90p again for a while. Just because the company announced profits may fall by 20%, doesn't really explain the share price got marked down by over 60% last week. Many people including myself are disappointed with the Trading Statement, so it is an understandable over-reaction with there being so many corporate earning scares recently, but atleast FTF is still making a healthy profit. So once the dust settles, I imagine these will recover (as they have been doing since) and with the company concentrating on filling its exisitng gyms rather than expanding so much, then the next update should hopefully be more positive. | reetus
09/10/2002 16:45 | Picked up 20pts on 30k share trade...which is a nice pick-up for a 3-day carry. now they've told their story, so it is waiting time to see the proof...and personally i'd rather wait on the sidelines...expect this to drift lower. if it does, it may get in play for the priv equity boys. I'll be back in around 90p (if it is a drift down & not a profit warning). It was short but fun. CYA | hypeuk
09/10/2002 16:14 | Should also be some 'Holding in Company' announcements tomorrow as there's been quite a few big trades, which should indicate who's buying or selling. | reetus
09/10/2002 16:02 | I used a stock screener last night and FTF still showed one of the highest buys if not the highest on the stock market based on the criteria I look for so I'll hold the rest for a while. Looking for 140P over the next few months. Looks like the sell was well timed, it's 119P to buy now. Again I expect a dip but steady recovery up, if not FTF will be taken out. | airrage
09/10/2002 15:58 | Fair play to you. I think it's inevitable people will decide to take a profit in this market, which may deflate the FTF share a bit. | reetus
09/10/2002 13:52 | Sold half bought last week @97P, sold for 121P, . Started to think others who bought in at less than 97P(ie 90P) might be thinking the same. | airrage
09/10/2002 11:20 | Gutted - Who says you cant make money going long in a bear market up 22% intra since Monday Played you lot | matthewa
09/10/2002 11:03 | I believe all these big, late reported "?" trades are all buys. They went through at 120p at 0956, and at 0956, 120p was the offer price. Indeed, these are probably the trades that caused the latest price rises. | thamestrader
09/10/2002 10:37 | Share price still recovering well, with Market Maker buys still appearing. | reetus
09/10/2002 09:43 | More big shapes coming through this morning. Think I'd rather be long than short | reetus
08/10/2002 15:13 | A bounce from such a fall is to be expected(shorters closing, brave punters buying). I remain short. | benson
08/10/2002 08:29 | Bid starting to move up this morning. | reetus
08/10/2002 00:24 | With the selling over - And buying continuing - These will be back to 120 before the end of the week.... Stone | stoneme
08/10/2002 00:12 | FF will definately rise today. | fluorine
08/10/2002 00:02 | Now that the selling is over, these may get back to 110/120 quite quickly... Oversold Friday. Anyone got Level 2? Stone | stoneme
07/10/2002 16:18 | err...I think you might have got this one slightly wrong? | thedarklord |
