Look, I kmow nothing about running restaurants, but looking at some of the nonsense in the RNS:

The Directors believe that this, together with the other initiatives that have been put in place by the new management team, including a redesigned menu

I'll give them that, at least there are more non-fishy items now, so the party of 6, of whom at least 1 probably isn't keen on fish, can safely go..

extended hours of operation

Good way of increasing your costs for minimal return. They were already open at all of the times that mattered, surely?

a central reservations system

Excuse me while I wet myself with excitement. How many potential bookings did they lose due to their lack of a central reservations system?

and the purchase of their main supplier

That for me is the worst of the lot. They're now stuck with one supplier, a good way of reducing flexibility, taking the pressure off the supplier to provide the best quality etc etc. Very bad move.

I think Luke must wish he was back with low-cost-high-markup-easy-to-cook pizza rather than this high-cost-short-shelflife-hard-to-handle fishy stuff.

Avoid.

It's all looking fairly crabby. The sharks have come in and the management has clammed up - they don't have enough mussel with city analysts. There also isn't sufficent scale at these levels.

Seems FSH is floundering at a low share price
Has this been over-sole'd, certainly thats what Im herring on the grapevine.

Everyone seems to be carp'in on with fish puns rather than a proper grouper us talking about company info.

On a serious note, Im tempted to snapper some up on the cheap given the big director buy last month.

ANyone got any none fishy thoughts?
