08/2/2008 22:53 | Hi Bob can you tell me what is the cotract details with the algerian government ie how much profit in % terms will FPL get per barrel, also betty davis birthday is very important to FPL also can you tell me dothey have enough money to finish the the project to get pumping or will they need more money. | chestnuts
31/1/2008 16:12 | Howdy: it went up to £10-plus, it had an approach, it rejected the approach, and it has since been more diluted (in an attempt to develop the Algerian assets itself) than a bottle of squash at a childrens birthday party. So down and down it has gone. A dreadful performance; not surprisingly imo, Waterford have now lost their patience. | bobobob5
24/1/2008 16:12 | My god. Was last in this at the 800's but sold out bored waiting for the "inevitable" acquisition. What the hell has happened? | howdy do da
24/1/2008 16:04 | Could be bob I just hope someone else will write any rns's. It is a huge project be quiet a feather in the cap if so. I was thinking it might be better to put some sparkle in FPL, if he has the time for such things now. | captainfatcat
24/1/2008 15:36 | captain: *A*rthur *B*rown? But might he set Fire to the Chart?! | bobobob5
24/1/2008 00:18 | bob I am not expecting this to rise above 120p prior to the waterford meeting the lower the share price the better their case. I wonder who they have in mind for the new CEO? | captainfatcat
23/1/2008 12:55 | Russians are very hard people, I can see them kicking some sense into FPL... | bobobob5
22/1/2008 22:59 | To think this was over £10 in 2005. Now at 109p - a 4.5 year low. As there is still some more financing to be sorted out, they may decide to test the 100p level. I'm still on the sidelines, but I sincerely hope we start a strong rise for all the longs - surely there aren't any shorters here at these levels? | sat69
22/1/2008 22:49 | The lows just keep getting lower. Unbelievable! | aerotus
22/1/2008 14:37 | Bob Holding at this price will only result in large returns over the next few years daily movements dont mean anything to me. | martincoops
22/1/2008 11:37 | Market Cap 254M! Interesting to compare assets with Tanganyika oil imo there is a lot resting on the next lot of finnance. As assets go looking cheap as chips. | captainfatcat
22/1/2008 11:29 | martin: if it carries on at this rate, it seems to me that MK's initial investment (which led to the discovery of this world-class asset) would have done roughly as well invested in a building society account. Not only is that a dreadful performance, but I've attended recent Oilbarrel conferences at which FPL has clearly not been seen as the flavour of the month, and the share price has fallen a long way since then. MK is right to blow a fuse. imho DYOR etc | bobobob5
15/1/2008 19:32 | Dont agree bob they have stated the rest of the money will not be from new share issues but loans, yeah I know its got to be paid back with interest but as all appears to be on target this looks a cert to rise from here to me. My money is where my mouth is and happy to hold | martincoops
14/1/2008 16:38 | This one has been diluted more than a bottle of squash at a kid's summer picnic. And quite possibly more to come. No wonder Waterford have lost their temper. A dreadful performance. | bobobob5
10/1/2008 19:21 | I haven't really studied it, someone knowlegable said dilution. i.e. same MCap as when the shares were £10 or £5, but just more shares. Not sure how true that is. If you want some excitement come over to xtr, zengas bought in there today. It's a reasonable thread (I would say that) and a potential 100 bagger (I would say that too!) | chopsy
10/1/2008 09:38 | Chopsy - Yep - this time I hopefully will catch the train! Can you work out why it is down??? | omellete
10/1/2008 09:35 | Hi om. Could we be heading for a double bottom here. | chopsy
09/1/2008 17:59 | Not looked for a while - but as usual have we in the UK missed something? Is the Feed study bad news? Looks good to me. Mad Canucks I guess. Bobobob any ideas? | omellete
