Depends if it becomes an auction for the Algerian reserves bob. If it does - and there are several potentially very interested parties - we could be looking at at least 400p and possibly quite a bit more than that. The point is that companies like ENI and Repsol need the gas (which could easily go by pipeline to Italy or Spain) and have good cash positions.

Still, we haven't got a bid yet and I knocked out 15k at 173.

A false break down offset by a strong break up = bullish. (see LDP recently for a similar pattern)

According to a broker friend of mine, the financing is in place and two bids have been tabled and rejected, one at $3.50 and the other at $4 both made last week.
