Down the road at Letseng (news today), will that cause delays

Extreme weather conditions have recently been experienced across the Maluti Mountains in Lesotho, where the Letšeng Mine is located, with excessive snow falls and severe winds limiting access to the mine. Following damage to the overhead power lines, standby generators installed at the mine have been used to mitigate some of the impact, allowing the plants to operate, albeit at reduced rates. The Lesotho Electricity Company (LEC) is currently on site carrying out repairs to damaged overhead power lines. External power supply is expected to be fully restored in the short term.

Full Year guidance for ore tonnes treated and operating costs may need to be re-assessed but due to the strong operational performance in H1, carats recovered are not expected to be affected materially.

The Board will provide an updated view of the current year's operational guidance with the announcement of the Company's Half Year Results. Full Year carats recovered will likely be within original guidance.

Letšeng has provided accommodation and food to approximately 250 local people who were unable to cope during the severe weather. The Deputy Prime Minister and a government delegation have visited the mine and thanked the management for its assistance to villagers during this difficult period.

Should be hearing about tango mining around the 29th July, 8Million would be a nice comfort zone for FDI.... Tango mining shares lept 300% a few weeks ago on speculation they maybe about to secure their 30million loan agreement.

Since then Tango cleared their previous debt by issuing shares and options, lets hope the dots all point to good news shortly.

It does indeed. Doesn't seem (at all) overvalued either if all goes to plan. Be interesting to see if spangel revisit their price target/npv calc.

All looking positive at the moment, maybe they will be able to pull this one out of the bag. Still sitting on quite a loss at the moment from past dilutions but if I can average down between now and Q4 maybe I can be in the green a little earlier if all goes well. Hope you are keeping well Andy.

Agreed,still on target and budget.

Initial production will be lower grade, so the potential will not be known for a while.

I wonder if they are using Tim Wilkes' son's diamond sale facility in Antwerp?

A win is a win T :-) good to hear from you again. Hope the move went ok for you. I am thinking of releasing some of my LUC after the June auction and ploughing a bit more into FDI. I can only dream of your levels of profitability but I am happy with my little lot. It would be nice to see FDI follow suit later on in the year. Best of luck Tan.

Hello V, good for you with Luc. Lost a chance for an extra £80k gutted, but wish everyone the very best. Suspect this share may benefit. Should have listened to my own advise about "never sell"!!!!!. What an idiot i am. Nonetheless whilst i sold too early half my shares were bought at 45 pence so i'm doing 'alright'.

Much more portable earnest, you'd struggle to walk in to a room with £10m worth of gold without people noticing.

Haha, it's old Bogwall. Long time no see. For once I agree, at least in part: FDI may be a buy if it corrects. Lack of available funds have meant I've missed the lows, and I would hesitate to buy with it having moved more than 50% in short order. There are still potentially nine months to go before initial work-up, a lot could happen in the interim. I wouldn't be too sure either that diamonds are as good a store of wealth as precious metals if and when the sh*t hits the fan - too many variables for my taste.

Makes one wonder if many are preparing for the flight from paper currency

When and if helicopter money gets implemented

That will be the time when diamonds and GOLD rise

I take the $30 mill to be the get it running costs but good if Fdi get some cash for what they have chosen to abandon. I genuinely think Tango are just playing a game and will be surprised if it goes through.

Out of interest, what "game" do you think Tango are playing?

And what inspired you to come to that conclusion?

FDI abandoned BK11 because they said it was uneconomic, just like Oena, Avontuur, and Bonte Koe before it. Now Tango are mining at Oena and say they want BK11!
