bjlewis - have just read Patrick Lay's small companies spotlight in yesterday's Daily Mail - makes the comment that FDC has become a very rich cash shell. This company seems to be full of surprises and I feel there's a lot going on behind the scenes. Wouldn't be surprised to see the shares up at around 9/10p in the not too distant future.

bloody hell Adam Reynolds has bought the Hansard business for a giveaway price. Shareholders have been shafted.

The PR side is being sold for £450k. That business made first half profits of £160k. So in 18months time the business will have paid for itself and Reynolds would have a company that he can sell for pure profit.

Unbelievable how directors get away with such acts.

By the way FDC are under investigation from the FSA.

New non exec director is supposed to know his stuff!Good track record.With a fair wind I think fdc should move higher.I believe Ramsden has kept a small investment stake.

FDC seem to have found a new lease of life since TR sold his stock. Some serious buys going through this morning.

NAV on these is 6p according to UK wire so could be a good buy if it all goes through imo but people seem to be selling does anyone have a L2 for this right now or anything such like please.cheers

So, it was announced today that ex-con Terry Ramsden has sold his notifiable interest in both Financial Development Corporation (FDC) and TradingSports Exchange. FDC, formerly Hansard, was involved in a deal to buy some land in Barbados that was owned by Griffin Leisure aka Terry Ramsden. It was ascertained by UK-Analyst.com that there was no planning permission for the land in Barbados. The land was to be sold to FDC for 300,000 pounds - a fraction of the cost that land usually goes for in the St James region. Plots of land usually cost several million pounds - with or without planning permission. But the sale of Ramden's notifiable stake in the group mean that this deal will probably not go through - making the potential acquisition of another PR group look unlikely. Finance Director Paul Foulger is yet to return UK-Analyst.com's call, but we will keep you informed on what he has to say on this. Shares in FDC added 0.25p to 3.5p, with TradingSports Exchange stock gaining 4.5p to 19.5p. If you are are daft enough to own these shares you are probably among the terminally deluded who own Ramco. Smell the coffee, sell the lot.

I think you are right as the spread is huge as well, has anyone heard about these rumours of the reverse takeover of an oil company, seems to be completely different to the current business
