I have emailed the company twice now for news when an update is due.

Very poor that they cannot be bothered to reply. Will not be taking a stake in this now.

This is looking cheap cheap cheap imho. Market cap of just £900,000 and last results saw it turn a profit with sale to increase this half. Look at the quality that snapped up 22% of the co. Will be buying sooon ;0)

Everyone disappeared here?

I had to pay 18p to get 20K yesterday - I think these look rather interesting.

9.8 million shares in issue, very small company, why would Jonathan Cohen former CEO of County Natwest and vice chairman of Charterhouse buy a stake and go on the board, must be used as a stockmarket vehicle for something?

Jonathan Cohen one of the guys who bought a 11% stake is former Chief Executive of County NatWest and Vice Chairman of Charterhouse, can you imagine the contacts he has got in the city, why would these two be interested in this tiny company and go on the board, the other directors bought shares as well, could be interesting.

This could easily go to 25p short term, mm's I think have been caught out, underestimating these two guys intentions, I remember when this share was £1.32, only 9.8 million shares in issue, mm's are short.

Great find jj1.

Here is the article..

Confident backers lift Fairplace
Small caps
Fairplace was among the day's top performers, climbing 4p to 15½p after two industry specialists took a 22 per cent stake in the executive training group.

Jonathan Cohen, who founded career consultants IDDAS, and Peter Evans, co-owner of Oxygen Coaching, were also appointed nonexecutive directors. Investors, who hope the pair may see Fairplace as a vehicle for sector consolidation, were also encouraged by news that four existing directors had raised their stakes.
