FAIRPLACE PLC INTERIM RESULTS FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2006 Key Points * Return to operating profit reflecting sales growth and cost reduction

* Operating profit before goodwill of £36,218 (2005*: loss of £490,034)

* Group sales increased by 9.1% to £2.65 million (2005*: £2.43 million)

* Talent management sales rose 46.3% to £0.60 million (2005*: £0.41 million)

* Outplacement sales increased by 1.5% to £2.05 million (2005*: £2.02
million)

* Talent management sales represented 24.2% of UK sales (2005*: 19.0%)

* Costs cut by 10.3% to £2.62 million (2005*: £2.92 million)

* Start to second half in line with plan

Hmmmm this is going to motor me thinks....cant buy any on line, market cap of just 1 million...should be profitable and strong finish to year. Could multi bag.

Up 7.9% after no action for ages and results due any day.

Yes, I agree. A reverse would be done at more than the current price imo - maybe 15-20p. Then you may get a premium or discount depending on the quality of the deal.

Results will be out mid October according to the company. Looking for a major deal with the figures. Paltry market cap of under £1m could easily be transformed into £5-10m in no time.

top quality management in place now who hold a sizeable chunk, dont forget the market total market cap is just £900,000....if they can continue to make a profit this will multibag imho

RNS ANNOUNCEMENT

Fairplace plc today announces the resignation of Executive Chairman, Mark Allsup
from the Board with immediate effect. He will leave the Company on 30th
September 2007. Mark has served on the Fairplace Board for the last fifteen
years and has now decided to leave to pursue other career opportunities. He has
been responsible for establishing Fairplace as one of the most trusted and
respected career transition businesses in the UK and in recent years has steered
the business through challenging market conditions and been instrumental in
widening its range of services to include talent managing and coaching as well
as restoring the business to profitability

Jonathan Cohen has been appointed Executive Chairman with effect from today.
Commenting on Mark's departure, Jonathan Cohen said ' I have known Mark for many
years and he is a highly regarded figure within the industry and whilst we
regret he has decided to leave Fairplace we wish him the very best for whatever
he now goes on to do'.

Mark Allsup said "Over the past fifteen years Fairplace has grown from a
start-up business into a recognised provider of career and talent management
services to the world's leading employers. I would like to thank everyone who
has contributed to the Company's development over the years, particularly my
colleagues whose support I have greatly valued. I am confident that this
progress will continue and wish Fairplace every success for the future".

i bought 75k a few weeks ago hoping to see some action here over the next few months
i wouldn't want to sell them in this mkt
will still be loss making because of write offs but hopefully some news with next results
