14/3/2008 17:07 | my bets are all on september and june contracts. but would like to get some of these into an isa, so may have to sell some only to buy back again. burnside i know many of the juniors are doing badly i follow most of them our time will come. | ukgeorge
14/3/2008 16:27 | As usual its lack of newsflow thats causing the poor sentiment with these smaller ones-i think the initial confidence is waning as we have had no updates-i am so suprised that with all the problems they have been through in the past getting up and running/funding etc that they are not now being more forthcoming with investors re progress-it would at least be nice to have an update,if only to reassure that everything is ok-thats the problem i feel, that there are a lot of skeptics until such time as we get that update-when and if we do it should firm up a lot and when full production is confirmed with copper,it should go a lot higher-all in due course i hope Only a few more market days before march contracts close, but there may also be some tax loss selling,so not really in the clear until 5th/6th april from this point of view-not many losses to offset here -mms will squeeze those bets though | strow
14/3/2008 16:07 | Look around UKG plenty of other juniors doing the same. I dont get it, unless its people's concern other the price of oil pushing up costs. At the very least they would cancel each other out. | burns1de
13/3/2008 13:02 | just added £25/point up bet to these. also added£5/point on them last night on the tsx price. i think/hope that was the bottom and that we will get a bounce today. gold at $994 at present dont think it will get to $1000 until 18th and fed cutting rates. | ukgeorge
12/3/2008 13:04 | time to add. tempted to sell some ori to get some more of these. emailed vanguard and eum but have had no response. | ukgeorge
07/3/2008 13:39 | just another share oriel, blackboard | ukgeorge
07/3/2008 13:35 | what is the ori forum george? | strow
07/3/2008 13:32 | if you go the ori forum they were talking about it their warrants and in a takeover that is. | ukgeorge
07/3/2008 13:22 | Anyone know what happens to warrant holders if the company gets taken over before they expire?? | strow
05/3/2008 12:55 | C$1.25 bottom trend line (support) C$1.5 top line (resistance). coming in symmetrical triangle for end of May at C$1.37. there could be a dip below C1.25 this i think this would be very short lived and be a bear trap. some time between now and end of May im expecting a huge volume day and these to shoot up. JMHO | ukgeorge
05/3/2008 12:41 | -------------------- Commodity Charts Examples Stock Charts Examples Symmetrical triangles can be characterized as areas of indecision. A market pauses and future direction is questioned. Typically, the forces of supply and demand at that moment are considered nearly equal. Attempts to push higher are quickly met by selling, while dips are seen as bargains. Each new lower top and higher bottom becomes more shallow than the last, taking on the shape of a sideways triangle. (It's interesting to note that there is a tendency for volume to diminish during this period.) Eventually, this indecision is met with resolve and usually explodes out of this formation (often on heavy volume.) Research has shown that symmetrical triangles overwhelmingly resolve themselves in the direction of the trend. With this in mind, symmetrical triangles in my opinion, are great patterns to use and should be traded as continuation patterns | ukgeorge
04/3/2008 16:44 | dosen't go up with gold but allways comes down with it. at $1.32 at present which is 66.8p | ukgeorge
03/3/2008 22:29 | Definately recommend putting at least £4000 into eum within an isa, there is little downside risk (considering current stock market levels) and so much potential upside, look in 3 years time and you could be talking a lot of profit. my aim is: end of 2008 120p end of 2009 180p end of 2010 250p Another bargain stock would be Yukon Zinc on TSX, huge amount of silver and world class ZINC deposit. | chrismisson555
03/3/2008 15:42 | Or fund your ISA in cash, buy on a down day, then sell your non-ISA shares on an up day - or the other way round, if you don't have the cash to float it. Bit tedious watching the market to time the share price right, but that is more or less what I am planning to do. | donaferentes
03/3/2008 11:22 | On a 'bed & ISA' you should be dealt well within the spread. | chipperfrd
03/3/2008 11:08 | yeah you are right dona, just spoke to iwebsharedealing who i use and i would have to sell the shares and then buy them back, what a con. I reckon it will cost me about £300 quid if i were to sell 10,000 and then buy them back straight away (on the spread). but i know in the long run it makes sense, as i see this and many miners going a lot higher and cgt will come back to haunt me. | ukgeorge
03/3/2008 08:44 | Ohisay - thanks. UKGeorge - I think you need to fund th eISA in cash then buy shares within it, bit it may depend upib individual ISA providers what they allow. | donaferentes
03/3/2008 08:18 | with ref Isa can you transfer shares into them or do you have to buy the share at the time of openning the isa. Gold $980 Silver $20 The juniors are going to play catch up sooner rather than later. just hope these arent taken over to quickly. great time for the copper to be coming online with these high prices again. | ukgeorge
03/3/2008 08:04 | It is the copper that really makes the difference here-price should start reflecting the potential when that copper circuit gets up and running-not long now :-) | strow
02/3/2008 23:58 | You can -I do . Look on the Hargreaves lansdowne website for the epic if you dont believe | ohisay
02/3/2008 22:24 | Anyone know if you can hold htis share in an ISA - albeit quoted in AIM in London, does its TSX listing make it not only ineligbible for AIM CGT treatment (while it lasts) but also makes it ISA eligible? Anyone know where you can get a definitive answer - HMC&E or Companies Hosue, or the Compnay Secretary/Registrar? TIA | donaferentes
28/2/2008 16:11 | copper and Gold are going great guns. :) | ukgeorge |
