03/1/2008 10:34 | They only launched it on 14 December. Various reasons for dropping it could include: a) Banks wouldnt fund it. b) Solicitors wanted paying up front. c) They were p.ssing in the wind. d) Scared off by counter claim. At least they can concentrate on the big hit from the Cheshire now I suppose. | ch2175

29/12/2007 13:56 | Nice summary there polzeath. The following from Property Week indicates that those who fled are doing the business elsewhere. "There was a further blow for troubled agency Erinaceous in October when well-known Manchester agent Peter Gallagher (2, right) left the firm along with Phil Meakin and Paul Day. Gallagher then announced in November that he was to set up his own agency, which is expected to start recruiting partners early in 2008. Gallagher's departure came after Allied London's shake-up of its agents for the Spinningfields office development. Bob Dyson, another doyen of the Manchester market, started earlier this year at Jones Lang LaSalle, having left Erinaceous in 2006 where he had worked on the prestigious letting instruction. Now he is back on the case after JLL and DTZ got the nod from Allied London over Erinaceous. " | ch2175

24/12/2007 11:14 | Caan is a non-story planted so he could get out and lose slightly less money than he has already. Remember he bought in at around 40p - great judgement! Any bid on this will be contingent on a debt equity swap so shareholders are screwed whatever happens. I read the other day this is officially the worst performing stock of the year - down 99.1%. That hasn't happened by accident. | yvain |
