Oil prices up 65cents today yet this heap of dungs down another 3%
its pathetic whats going on?
Does anyone think its just getting dumped ahead of the ftse review on 21/12/01
or can we expect this to be a crock of shi*e over the next 12 months
and we would be better off dumping it ourselves and moving on

good call. I will now have to wait a bit longer but may take chance to top up? If its not one thing it's another. I know nothing about the economics of Argentina. Looks like if I am to trade in oil I will have to learn a lot about everything

diydan i agree but got to whatch closely 1/russia dont stick to deal 2/warm winter 3/usa attack iraq 1+2 price down 3 price shoots up ,take your choice ,ime out at the moment took my profit jump back in at 4.30p if ime lucky dont trust russia

Agree with the idea of a takeover but not sure about trackers. volume is very low and trades are mostly less than 10,000 In my view it will take very little for this stock to shoot up. I think it is the small investors and there advisers who are dumping this at the moment for the wrong reasons. There is a rick of droping out of the ft100 but the stocks that would have taken it's place are not riseing enough yet so it may hang on.

Am I missing something? This company makes money and lots of it!! All the nubers look good and the price drops. It is no wonder that we see all the problems with peoples mortgages not being covered by there endowments when the so called pro's allow this stock to go for this price.

LONDON (AFX) - Enterprise Oil PLC said its unit, Enterprise Oil Gulf of
Mexico Inc, has successfully completed the drilling of its first well as
operator of the Llano field located in the Garden Banks area of the US Gulf of
Mexico.
The Llano field is located 125 miles offshore Louisiana in approximately
2,600 feet of water.
The appraisal well, Garden Banks 385 No 1, is the fourth well drilled on the
discovery. The well encountered two high-quality hydrocarbon-bearing reservoirs
with approximately 400 feet of total net pay. Production casing has been set at
a measured depth of 24,789 feet, and the well has been suspended for future
production, said Enterprise.
Co-venturers in the Llano field are Amerada Hess Corporation, Mobil
Producing Texas & New Mexico Inc, and an affiliate of Exxon Mobil Corporation,
PanCanadian Energy Corporation.

It wont last if prices rise....Bush and Putin are doing a deal....Cheap oil for the US from Russia for a few months = Much less severe recession
In return the US will help Russia attract forign investment and build a capitalist infrastructure..
US don't want to rely on the arabs in Saudi for oil as the Saudis will be unhappy to sell oil at below $22 pb.
Putin got round the table with Chechen rebels yesterday for the first talks in 2 years...It's obvious he's trying to clear the decks of the last problems that make investor wary of Russia...Next will be a crack-down on the mafia.....
Lukoil (state owned) has been buying up all the smaller forign E&Ps....After all, it'll be harder for the mafia to steal from the government than from forign investors....No coincidence then that Lukoil, as Russia's largest state owned oil company is planning to list on the LSE soon.....Another indication that Russain accounting standards are falling into line with the west...

a cut in output will be good for the oversold etp + with tmt stocks overbrought in the last 2weeks investers will return to defensive oil stocks price target for etp is 5.30 end of the week

A PRICE OF UNDER £4 WILL REPRESENT GOOD VALUE IN THE MEDIUM/LONG TERM PARTICULARLY BEARING THE MIND THE ALREADY LOW P/E.IN THE SHORT TERM IT COULD BE A BIT SCARY IF THE PRICE PER BARREL DIPS BELOW $10 WHICH THE PUTIN/BUSH PARTNERSHIP WILL WAN'T IT TO GO.
HOWEVER OPEC HAVE THREATENED A PRICE WAR TO FORCE THE RUSSIANS TO PLAY BALL. INTERESTING TIMES.DONT TAKE YOUR EYE OFF THE BALL.

sounds like a load of nonsense if you ask me DIYDAN. ETP shares will fall to 400p on Tuesday before making a slow but positive recovery to in excess of 530p within 6 weeks.
