18/11/2001 19:01 | At this level of market cap etp looks a cert to be out of the ftse100, review in 2 weeks. If that is the case and the tracker funds have to sell will the market not be flooded with the stock and the price then go way below £4. Only a thought but would welcome any views. | diydan
18/11/2001 15:48 | I agree with what your saying regards Bush and Putin. A new friendship being cemented hear. And Putin will help Bush by keeping that oil flowing. I will wait a bit longer before I buy. If oil drops down to 10 US. I think you may pick ETP up at 3.30p. Jak1... | jak1
18/11/2001 15:22 | Expect the next few weeks to be a bit of 'roller coaster ride'. With the price of crude oil falling below $13 a barrel. Word in the city is that the price is being driven down by Russia's reluctance to cut oil production. This in turn is due to this weeks meetings between Bush and Putin. Putin is ever eager to cement links with America. In forfilling this target he will keep the tap 'wide' open on oil production. Thus, in theory, cushioning any recession bumps in America. In doing the above he will indeed reap rewards in the future. Although, Enterprise are the cheapest producers of oil (est.$8-$10 per barrel), they will eventually succumb to inevitable loss of share value. IF, this carries on for some time expect the mergers to take place, that were put on ice last time. Please do your own research! This is only what I have heard from reliable sources. | madrid
16/11/2001 22:49 | ETP is dirt cheap @ £4.30'ish. You do not have to be a six figure salary analyst to come up with this remark. Anyway 99% of the time they are wrong. Yes, there will be a difference between Oil production co's and exploration Co's. I wouldn't be be surprised to find buy rating in the weekend press. DYOR | demark
16/11/2001 14:36 | Factors in Enterprise's favour compared to last time oil prices were low. Gas prices are considerably higher. Etp gas production 10% of total. Skene field on stream shortly. Etp have made nearly 200p/share profit since then. Sterling exchange rate makes oil more valuable in terms of pounds. Also reserves will be more valuable. Interest rates on debt considerably lower. In short the bottom should be much higher whilst the potential upwards is still there. Ofcourse they could always be bought out and we can have our profits sooner. Sorry for that last comment. IMHO DYOR. bom fin | bomfin
16/11/2001 11:03 | some sort of deal between opec +russia ,norway and etp will rally back to £5 | iantc

16/11/2001 09:00 | Couldnt agree more slyfox I think the hedge funds are shorting this one to the hilt due to strong tmts at the moment. | venomousviper
16/11/2001 08:50 | ETP has had a pretty raw deal from the markets. Back in the spring when oil prices were high, their share price took a beating when they said that this year's production would be lower than last. Now that the oil price has fallen the drop in production is actually a good thing. But their share price still gets hammered, worse than its peers. Definitely a strong buy at these levels- we're still a long way from $10 a barrel remember ! | slyfox
15/11/2001 16:28 | Is this oversold at 10% down on the day, Shell not hit so bad why is Enterprise hit disproportinately? tom | tomrob
15/11/2001 14:48 | Now down 10% anyone think there will be a bounce or is straight down towards 3 quid without any let up? | venomousviper
15/11/2001 13:55 | Oil price is volatile...it may not take much to reverse things...opec manoeuvres, Mideast/Israel tension, cold snap..thats all..IMHO.. Oil will go up..just a question of when. | birthofthecool
15/11/2001 09:59 | sorry people I was wrong, still a good long term buy IMHO | smm316
14/11/2001 15:41 | Probably more like 400 the price of oil is collapsing as Opec have defered a cut in production due to a lack of compliance with non Opec producers.Analysts reckon oil will collapse to the low teens and fast the last time oil was at 10 dollars etp stood at 225p. This stock will go below 400p should this happen. All IMHO VViper | venomousviper
14/11/2001 15:32 | IMHO - this is deffinately a buy at 478!! cheap cheap cheap!! I reckon 500 within a week for this one. All IMHO Agent S | smm316

08/11/2001 17:02 | OPEC meets on Nov the 14th. They will cut oil porduction which will take effect on the first of Dec. ETP should rise further,at least upto the meeting, then beyond. | psolomons
08/11/2001 16:56 | Sold at £4.95 one day later, thanks Enterprise, watching and waiting to buy on any dip back towards £4.80 | nick9962

07/11/2001 16:59 | Don't worry they won't want the oil price to stay below $20/barrell for too long. | psolomons
