11/6/2015 09:19 | Seats at the Top Table are being taken, but share price reflects no addition of value. I wonder how many more partners are needed before we feast. I wonder too, what terms Eneg is concluding with its Consortium partners. | chinadog3
10/6/2015 11:47 | Whoops - sorry - wrong thread. | the drewster
10/6/2015 09:35 | Is there a future at the moment for marginal oil fields with the low oil price. I know there will be one day, but will they last that long? | bsg
10/6/2015 09:31 | We have news today folks. 2 more credible companies have joined the consortium. No smoke without fire ? | haydock
27/5/2015 16:32 | Good find LT. you are still backing your gut feeling. It's been a quiet period, but the prize is very large, & the ball still in play. Current operations are focused on opportunities around the Port au Port Peninsula in Newfoundland, Canada, the Clare Basin in County Clare, Ireland . There is much discussion in the air today of enegy in Canada, with new LNG exports, we are at the bottom of the cycle in NEW, but things could change very rapidly, they may even be producing a trickle as of old, has any body asked lately ? Current operations are focused on opportunities around the Port au Port Peninsula in Newfoundland, Canada, the Clare Basin in County Clare, Ireland . We know from the above comment that they still have an iron in the fire & a lead position in Ireland. The position regarding shale has not, despite what many folk think stood still. The delay may have been of benefit, to Eneg, time for another consortium ? Ireland is potentially a very valuable position. hxxp://www.nohotair. | haydock
27/5/2015 16:31 | With thanks to LT. on 3i. Hi all Long time no post but courtesy of tradingstock247 on LSE for pointing this out: hxxp://www.directors Topped up with £3k's worth this morning but only £1,000 buy showing so far and that was before reading the Q&A session. | haydock
18/5/2015 22:54 | Shoal Point, the sister company of ENEGI, in the NewFoundland venture sinks to new low today of 0.00 to sell, and 0005 to buy. Game over for the Newfoundland story? | taxibabe
04/5/2015 13:05 | Who knows, indeed. I daresay when HUR hit 50p the cycle & recycle of such dire sentiment and extraordinary undervalues will turn. HUR is my Oily stock Barometer, though overall far more interested in Gold & Silver whilst others hate them. Those that hold ENEG will definitely look forward to the day they are buying at 4p for good reason. That is up to Mr Minty and His deal ability, yet for obvious reasons,He will no doubt pull it off, when the time is right GLA | richgit
03/5/2015 19:37 | Yes the world needs oil but GHS assets, and those of SHOAL Point, have still to be proven. The cost of proving it is beyond ENEGI and they appear to have become entrapped by BSE in a share purchase arrangement for 10 million shares at 8p for £800.000 which they don't have. I presume this gives BSE first call on GHS as the only realistic asset that ENEGI have? Even if it doesn't BS have given up on their drilling ideas, and, I have the feeling, could not attract the necessary investment. As far as I can make out BS are or were consortium put together by WELLS FARGO of investors to to invest in drilling opportunities. When the oil price collapsed, so did investor interest. In any case, BS'S drilling was contingent on SHOAL POINT getting its drilling permit, which never happened. The idea being to drill the two prospects together. WThe plug was pulled by BS and that was that. What will happen in the future who knows but SHOAL point shares are well offered at 1 cent and ENEGI shares are the same. The prognosis is hardly encouraging. | taxibabe
03/5/2015 16:56 | It is certainly all a bit of a Mystery to those that do not know the truth. BSE put such a high value on Eneg`s Newfoundland assets that in a presentation for attracting investors, they inferred they actually owned 50%,which caused quite a public spat between Managements. That tells us (again) how valuable they considered the assets !! Then the nonsense suggesting their Rig was ready and that ENEG had delayed its placement . Yet-they didn't (seemingly) have the drill permits,so why would they park the drill whilst it could spend months just being in the way ? Investors could be forgiven for thinking BSE were raising money against the value of ENEG``s assets in some scam. Most will never know, as the Oil price manipulations killed off most exploration Budgets, yet I am sure all would like some truths about -at best-some untruths from BSE. The assets remain and whilst BSE valued 50% (their deal)at Multi-Millions, the Market values 100% of Eneg`s assets at petty cash. I merely make the point-that the World still needs Oil. | richgit
01/5/2015 15:30 | ok so state of play ABTOG = hot air. Irish Shale, say no more, GHS/NEWFOUNDLAND probably belongs to Black spruce unless we can raise £800.000 plus penalties. With a cap of £1.2 million its a tall order. | taxibabe
01/5/2015 15:28 | As they say rbento Mnumuna! I feel so much like you I voted you up. I can't believe they think they are fooling anyone. Its almost willful the destruction of value of this company. All they had to do was put in a proper well at GHS and they could have made everyone millions. Re-working a badly drilled and faulty well, even with Shlumberger, was bound to fail. You can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear. | taxibabe
01/5/2015 11:11 | No one cares about non contracted or committed partners! It is barely RNS news worthy and adds no value to the company. The only reason this is being announced is to hide the fact that the Wood group has gone. Wow did it take them a long time to admit it. My worst investment ever, cant believe i was fooled by a bunch of muppets. | rbento
01/5/2015 09:40 | anyone know what happened to "rich cardiff" - no-doubt a lot less "rich"? He used to post on 3iii. You not connected to him rich-git? | taxibabe
01/5/2015 09:39 | Last-throw has had his last-throw I fear. | taxibabe
01/5/2015 09:14 | A new partner. An announcement on the Memo with WG (that most investors had I suspect anticipated). What has changed? SP drop seems overstated but can the company be taken seriously at its current market cap and share price Originally, I bought in because of NF, and er where are we on that? Last Throw what`s your view? | chinadog3
01/5/2015 09:11 | If people read the results, they will note there is a very viable Business Plan to move forward and protect those assets reasonably valued at potentially £Multi-Million Even production is back on,though it will be some time before we discover to what extent. Mr Minty needs a few bob to protect assets worth huge multiples of todays Market Cap. Picking the right moment and surviving until that moment is the key,and no doubt He will be offered that life line to protect so much. When Oil prices finally level out and face the future demand/lack of investment the value of Newfoundland will raise its head, whilst ABTOG is at least in the right game at the right time. Lack of Oil investment is akin to America`s crumbling infrastructure, that after 40 years of disatrous economic Management of relying on debt -requires $3.4 Trillion to put right at a time they are bust. Listening to the US is like asking a tramp where to buy a designer suit. Death of the $Dollar ? | richgit
01/5/2015 08:47 | How long does it take the board to "earn" the equivalent of the market cap? Maybe this measure should be published against all aim stocks? | the drewster
01/5/2015 08:11 | risk1 At a price nobody can afford to sell the Company is £1.2Million away from being worth 0. A Company that not that long ago had assets whereby £Millions were at that time going to be spent on drilling those assets, suggesting the multiple potential worth and somewhat multiples beyond £1.2 Million. Oil prices will rise in the future as wealth from the West travels East and China`s demands are certainly not reducing. The idea the World suddenly does not need Oil is somewhat ludicrous, plus so many Oil Cos need to at least attempt to prove up some 0 assets,so ABTOG has a potentially obvious future. How Mr Minty pulls a financial rabbit out of the hat remains to be seen, yet if when He does !? The sentiment that thinks Oil is a game to permanently avoid can change so fast as it`s akin to thinking We no longer need Uranium - by judging its false price. | richgit
01/5/2015 08:06 | ha ha seemingly gone into auction at 0.65p on 46000 shares. How funny is that? The market wants these shares not! | taxibabe
01/5/2015 07:56 | more hot air re ABTOG and the MGF initiative. Why dont they twig the mkt is not interested in this? They want to see pound signs not initiatives. OMG I wish I had shares in SHARD or BLACK SPRUCE. | taxibabe
01/5/2015 07:22 | Omg after all this time now this how will market react to this friiiday rns? | risk1
21/4/2015 14:22 | exxon mobile taking an interest in enegi with a £930 buy this pm? Not,. I see this as shell mostly assuming GHS never gets drilled, abtog never gets off the ground, and the irish shale oil venture is forgotten then essentially its a shell with a stock market quote. Some sort of deal with a new board and new directors may yet emerge, possibly put in place by SHARD CAPITAL or BLACK SPRUCE whom, I would guess own the company now more or less. Why do I say that? well SHARD are owed £1.2 million and BLACK SPRUCE 800.000 so putting the two together thats £2 million plus interest and, presumably, in the case of BS penalties. So Maybe the two can put their heads together and get rid of the board and do something with this lemon? | taxibabe |
