02/12/2011 10:12 | Natwest needs a response by 6th Jan. Cash or PMO shares.Can be done online. | dumbo4
02/12/2011 09:44 | typhoon If you contact Barclays, they will e-mail you information on how to respond to the offer. They also itemise the various stages in the process. | rogsim
02/12/2011 09:30 | I have still heard nothing from my broker Barclays, and hope to soon...as am I not right in thinking something takes place soon in December?? Also can some kind soul tell me the likely date our Encore shares will be exchanged for Premier Oil or we cash them in dependent on decision made?? Thanks in anticipation of your help. | typhoon
02/12/2011 08:35 | RoyalT, Yes you can opt for 0.2067 shares in PMO for every EO share that you hold. I've already instructed my broker to do just that. PMO are already dirt cheap and 7Kiwi posted their drilling campaign on the AEY thread in a recent post so PMO have lots going on, including drilling Coaster mid next year, Carnaby just before that. 02/12/2011 08:31 | I've still got share in EO. Is there an option to have the share converted to PMO ones? Or do I have to sell out | royalt
01/12/2011 10:11 | Goldman Sachs posted today that they think brent crude will reach $130 next year. | leedskier
01/12/2011 07:59 | Repo, I'd expect all three to have a good day today, AEY and PMO obviously, but PMO will npw drag EO. along for the ride as they increase in value over the coming weeks. All PMO need now is TR and East Fyne to come in and up they'll go again. :) Yes Erne further proves the seismic model for the Tay in the GFA a story that's unfoldimg pretty much like GCA and now PMO has a 50% stake in both the GCA and GFA (well almost, they will by Jan). Yes I reckon money will enter both AEY and PMO now that they've had a successful start to the campaign and plenty more wells and st's to go down yet. Captain Nelson Forties | captainnelsonforties
30/11/2011 21:15 | CNF, Erne result out tonight. Fyne looks like the next GCA to me;-) AEY linked to PMO strongly too, in North Sea and with adjacent blocks in Tanzania. If people remember what was said about the high amplitude Catcher Tay plays about 10 months ago, then this looks like the same story, albeit smaller. However AEY have a 50/100%, instead of 15%, exposure. Looking at the new NPE presentation, they've delineated the new seismic shoot which goes north towards the Greater Fyne Area. I suspect that there are unindentified Tay plays there, and the area delineated by PMO as such, might turm out to be a whole lot bigger Guess who owns a lot of it? Then there's the Argie shale story, which if you believe any of the stuff written about Crown Point Ventures (AEY's 50:50 partner) being a ten bagger potentially, well three quarters of the value looks to be coming from the block shared with Antrim. I suspect we'll see some Encore money flying into AEY over the coming days/weeks/months. repo | lanaken
29/11/2011 10:24 | My vote on the deal and the AGM resolutions have been returned today. All I have to do now is to elect PMO paper or cash, and I have till beginning of January to do so. | huttley
29/11/2011 10:00 | Further to my previous post... My online broker has previously allowed me to accept or decline takeovers. It seems that by adopting this Scheme of Arrangement, it does not allow me to accept or decline (without "voting" for which I will be required to pay a supplementary fee). Does anyone know why PMO have adopted the SoA route rather than a straight foreward takeover. Is it so that many(?) nominee shareholders are not allowed to easily vote? or am I being unnecessarily cynical.....? | steve73
28/11/2011 17:53 | geordy2 I've been asked by my SIPP manager Hargreaves Landsdown to elect for cash or paper no later than 9th January. Samurai | samurai48
28/11/2011 17:17 | The current PMO thread is very quiet. Perhaps it will liven up when Encore is integrated :} c | crosseyed
28/11/2011 11:38 | The institutions are still buying. Question is who is selling to them? Other institutions or private investors? | leedskier
27/11/2011 18:22 | Marben Thanks for your reply, I was aware that the proxy was related to the vote, unfortunately petebarnes posts numbers 43275/6 completely wrong footed me. Am I correct in assuming that nobody has yet been asked to elect for cash or paper. Rgds G2 | geordy2

26/11/2011 21:52 | I can confirm that Georgeson are a bona fide proxy solicitation company. See for details on what they do. | marben100
26/11/2011 21:43 | geordy2 - 24 Nov'11 - 14:32 - 43283 of 43326 petebarnes I have two options, but for the life of me I cannot differentiate between the cash or shares option, my broker is TDW. -------------------- geordy2, These questions from TDW purely relate to the vote. They will ask you later about the election (as I've mentioned previously, there is no rush on the election but the deadline on the vote approaches). TDW are one of the better brokers, when it comes to voting and attending meetings. As you've seen, you are always invited to vote and there's also an option to request an LoR so you can attend in person if you want to. HTH, Mark | marben100 |
