13/11/2013 22:10 | I had my shares in a UK broker nominee account. | pomp circumstance
13/11/2013 16:53 | Monkey. Good luck with the Oz broker, a lot of internet searching seems in order. | freddie ferret
13/11/2013 16:52 | We have a little bit of a correction back to trend. | freddie ferret
12/11/2013 16:56 | Freddie, That's all I have here. Must been a result of the move of EPY from the UK to Aussie Land all those years ago and never got any paper certs as my previous UK holdings were held with etrade via a nominee account. Must be something that happens alot these days so hopefully they can liaise with Computershare to deal with the necessary admin, after it is Computershare's on line advice to go to an Aussie broker and they wouldn't send me down a dead end now or would they? | monkey puzzle
12/11/2013 16:52 | GHL chart seems to be in uptreand still. | freddie ferret
12/11/2013 16:49 | MP. Without a cert I think you may have some hard work to do. For an Australian broker to act they would have to set up a account and comply with their money laundering regulations. Good luck | freddie ferret
12/11/2013 16:34 | Freddie, Thanks, I called them today. Lady advised me that I need the paper certificate (which I don't have) as I only have the holdings statement I was provided with by Computershare Investments in Ozz. The only way that TD could deal in these would be for me to get an Asset Transfer done from Computershare to TD which they would charge me £150 for. Sounds like a long and expensive process so I emailed an Aussie broker today direct to see what they can do instead. Hopefully I will see something tomorrow and take it from there. | monkey puzzle
12/11/2013 16:24 | Monkey. Yes I think so. If you are in London go to the TD Investment center along High Holborn with your certs, they might want to see proof of ID too. I would be fairly quick about it. 71 or 72 High Holborn if memory serves me right. | freddie ferret
11/11/2013 18:02 | Did you have the paper certs and move them to a broker here? I still have mine on paper and I have an on line shares account with TD, would I be able to give them the paper certs and get the shares added to my TD dealing account to sell? | monkey puzzle
11/11/2013 17:56 | sold mine today Sold at 39p (UK price based on closing level this morning and reflecting the 6% rise). If you sell them in Oz tonight / tomorrow you would have to pay an agency fee of A$100 so as you want to get shot I have gone ahead in UK. | pomp circumstance
11/11/2013 17:45 | Thanks Freddie. I have considered the possibility of taking up the share offer but it appears to be quite difficult to find a broker in the UK to take custody of the new shares and quite difficult if you are in the UK to open a dealing account with a Malaysian broker. | kefta
10/11/2013 20:52 | Kefta. Work through all these. I cannot suggest anything better. I would comment that you do need to sort this matter out. If you can arrange to take up the offer of the GHL shares this might for you not be a bad gamble give it 5-10 years you might find that the investment is big enough for you to ignore the dealing costs. | freddie ferret
10/11/2013 20:42 | Monkey. Illegible could be ineligible. Remember we are talking people using a second language here. Now what's the Malaysian word for ineligible .... Dam I've forgotten ;-8) | freddie ferret
09/11/2013 14:11 | I have a problem. I have a small holding of shares, my broker transferred the shares out of my account as they dont do ASX shares. My shares are now with Computershare in australia who do not offer a trading service, my intention is to sell the shares if the price is higher than the offer price come January. TDW charge £150 for doing a transfer to them. Does anyone have any ideas of the best way forward. RegardsKefta | kefta
08/11/2013 16:53 | Freddie, Quite some document there. Key thing I saw was the potential to change the scrip offer based on the higher ghl share price so we might get alot less shares? Whats an illegible foreign shareholder? Feels like it might be better to sell ebfore the offer closes to get best value? | monkey puzzle
07/11/2013 17:37 | MULTIPLE PROPOSALS GHL SYSTEMS BERHAD (GHL OR COMPANY) (I) PROPOSED ACQUISITION; (II) PROPOSED EXEMPTION; AND (III) PROPOSED SHARE ISSUANCE (COLLECTIVELY REFERRED TO AS PROPOSALS) You are advised to read the full contents of the announcement or attachment at | freddie ferret
06/11/2013 12:09 | boadicea. Have added to the header, thanks for that. | freddie ferret
06/11/2013 12:07 | MP. GHL chart shows yesterday as a fall, this chart does not show the most recent days trade. Not to worry after the big rise on the day of the announcement there was a brief fall. | freddie ferret
06/11/2013 06:36 | 5% holder declared today. But, they stopped buying on 31 Oct and paid max 50c. | monkey puzzle
05/11/2013 14:42 | FF, GHL closed at 0.86 mid, looked to me like it rose? GHLS:MK 0.860 MYR0.125 17.01% Seems to me like EPY has some catching up to do..... | monkey puzzle
05/11/2013 13:23 | Pomp. I do not think it is as simple as the two are linked, EPY rose last night, GHL seems to have fallen. | freddie ferret
05/11/2013 13:17 | Yes, if you tell me how to do it???? :) :) :) | freddie ferret |
