Nice intra-day turn, hopefully a chance to get some on the 16th.

Just missed another 2k over lunch, the price suddendly bounced while clicking
buy, in fairness not quite as quick as I once was, which Mrs EI considers
a benefit for some reason ).

My better half joined Green Flag online yesterday, took about 3 mins,
they go out of their way to stress the online option gives a price reduction.

As of now, 13,000 shares exactly.

Bought 200 BAB earlier!, less sure there atm.


My main concern currently is this extreme lack of wider equity market volatility,
overdue some down days imv.

the move to align any special dividends with year end results was announced in the interim results last autumn.

Noticed they are moving to Special Dividend being paid just once a year in future. In the small print under Capital Management Policy in the results...

"In future, the Board has decided that, in the normal course of events, it will consider whether or not it is appropriate to pay a special dividend only once a year, alongside the full year results. In doing this, the Group will harmonise its major capital management decisions with its planning process and its full-year earnings."

I think the worst is over. good time to invest expecting insurance premium will be up. everything from the discounted rate will goes to the consumer, at the end. special div. will come again.
