Appointment of Director
Curtis Banks Group plc ("Curtis Banks"), one of the UK's leading SIPP providers with a portfolio of approximately 72,000 SIPPs, is pleased to announce the appointment of William Arthur Self, 34, as an Executive Director to the main Board. Will is Chief Executive of the Suffolk Life Group of Companies ("Suffolk Life"), acquired by Curtis Banks in May of this year.
Will joined Suffolk Life, a subsidiary of Legal & General Plc, in 2003 spending time in multiple departments including Corporate Development where he was instrumental in launching several propositions with multi-national insurers. Completing his MBA from Cranfield University in 2010, he was made a Director of Suffolk Life in the same year, initially as Operations Director and subsequently as Product and Operations Director in 2012.
Will become Managing Director in 2013 and during 2015 was additionally appointed Chief Operating Officer of Cofunds Limited, a sister company within Legal & General Plc. He led the strategic review during 2015 which resulted in the sale of Suffolk Life to Curtis Banks in January 2016.
