bought into this a while back thought about selling at what would be a very good profit but my broker said it could go alot higher especially since he had heard of takeover specualation you only have to look at the sharprice of other shares in this sector it certainly looks very cheap anyway still holding

fair point - not the most scientific analysis I grant you, but as the only "penny share" offering in this sector I think it worth a punt - there is such a lack of well-organised kindy-care in many affluent areas that I think the building of a trusted brand could reap great rewards. AFAIK they have 8 nurseires up and running and are aiming to open up to 50 more. Of course it'd be preferable as an investor to have some ides of the financials, the business model possibilities such as franchising etc. - but then if that was all available I suspect a lot more punters would be wading in. I'm bullish, maybe, but the downside vs. upside potential for the small punt I've taken means I won't feel too much of an eejit if it turns out I was wildly wrong....

re. previous comment 'this has to be backed' - that's pretty bullish when no financial information seems to be available. I agree the sector looks attractive but what is the company's current £10m valuation based on? Thin air at the moment until we see some financial statements from the company.

web site is at www.primarysteps.com - I think they backed PS into CEC as part of the process of getting onto AIM.

This is a total punt but the demand for decent day care, with the provision of late afternoon/ early evening care is so great & growing that this has to be backed...

thought it might happen trayder as i bought at the bid price so they had to lower the bid price after they shifted some of their stock.The only real worry i have for these is if they come back to the market for more money and have to really depress the share price to get the institutions back in.But this may not be a bad thing as it will probbably be for further expansion and have you seen the price of a creche these days, a real money spinner i know as have 2 kids and pay 15 quid an hour for them.

trayder1 bought more of these today looking for a rise to 12p hopefully in the not too distant future
