29/5/2014 18:55 | Getting near a one year high, management seem to be top class here in terms of experience anyway. | rolo7
26/5/2014 21:37 | I did see these tipped by a fund manager Rolo and the share price was making some progress before they issued a horrible profits warning. I think the fund manager from memory did say the shares were risky as they haven't made a profit for 5 years ( from memory so apologies if incorrect). I thought the last results were so bad that I certainly wouldn't invest. It does seem to be creeping back up but as an outsider these seem serial disappointers. | mach100
26/5/2014 20:35 | Anyone holding these shares? seems a turnaround is possible!? | rolo7
19/3/2014 15:17 | They added a few 100k yesterday... | rambutan2

11/11/2013 11:49 | The act of de-listing is not a disposal for CGT purposes so your position remains unchanged. You will only be able to crystallise a loss for CGT by selling or gifting the shares or if you can demonstrate that the shares have become of "neglible value" In simple terms this means that they have lost say 95% of their value and there is no hope of that value being recovered. This would not be the case if they are continuing to trade, no matter how hopeless their position is. All the above is general comment and not advice on your specific situation. | 25october1969
11/11/2013 10:54 | apologies, this is off thread ---- Masurenguy ru an accountant ?! if a company de-lists, do you know what effect that has on capital gains ? does it count as a complete loss ?.... or if you bought at say 10p....and price is say 5p when it de-lists, do you count it as being a sale at 5p ...and a loss of 5p/share ? ...or no capital loss at all since you still have the shares, and only if you manage to sell them (unlisted), or give them for free to the company !, can you book it as a sale and hence a loss ?? grateful for any comments from anyone | smithie6
05/11/2013 14:55 | Loan has been paid off in full, and ahead of schedule. Hopefully this bodes well. I have held this share since it was known as Mondas! Good things come to those who wait! | romeo

09/9/2013 15:31 | 2 x 100k buys there, delayed | mirabeau
06/9/2013 14:29 | Have to agree with Masurenguy post above - another 2 yrs of losses to YE 2014 but are n a growth market - why has the co failed to make a profit over the years? ACM may be the better bet out of these 2 companies IMHO | euclid5
06/9/2013 14:19 | thanks! looked over the last set of results and seen the CNS side of the business seemed to be making a loss but then won some awards in may this year. | ryan83
06/9/2013 13:53 | ryan83 - there is little fundamental value that you can attach to CNS at the moment given they expect it to be another 2 years before they will be profitable. The £10m they had at the end of June will be halved by their projected losses over the next 2 years so the residual cash value on that basis is circa 6p per share. However the intangible value resides in their IP, their existing and developing product suite and their customer network. I guess that the current value that might be ascribed is in the 12p - 15p range depending upon how bearish or bullish you are on their likely forward competitive position. I have no position here yet - it is on my watchlist. | masurenguy
06/9/2013 09:09 | Directors bought loads of stock at 33/34pence levels...... | ryan83
06/9/2013 09:07 | ah yes the £10.9m is "expects that the proceeds of the Sale receivable by the Company on completion will be approximately £10.9 million ($16.6 million), net of repayment of bank debt ("CBS Debt"); " Masurenguy - what value do you attach to CNS? "The Sale will result in the Company becoming exclusively focused in the network security market for which its strategy remains unchanged from that set out in the annual report and accounts for the year ended 31 December 2012 and the circular to shareholders dated 25 February 2013" | ryan83
06/9/2013 09:03 | ryan83 - 94: The CBS sale will leave them with £10.9m cash and no debt. "on a pro-forma basis at 30 June 2013 gross cash of $21.2m (£13.9m) and net cash of $15.2m (£10.0m) including the net proceeds from the Sale" RNS 2714J. 15 July 2013 | masurenguy
06/9/2013 07:27 | Stephen Gates is described as a 'noted security evangelist' | mirabeau
06/9/2013 07:25 | Yep market cap approx £12m. The CBS sale will leave them with £10.9m cash and no debt. They will then be left with the CNS part of the business. It has won awards in may 2013 and could be pretty rewarding and a good recovery play! | ryan83
05/9/2013 17:05 | Thought they had 86m shares in issue - 14p x 86m = £12m mkt cap | euclid5
04/9/2013 07:30 | Black Rock take an above reporting threshold stake in Correro. | masurenguy
28/8/2013 13:04 | Following the disposal do they now have net cash of £10m and a market cap of only £7.5m ? | the shuffle man
23/7/2013 10:47 | Just imagine what a different story we would have here now george had wally waller listened to us all those years ago. Still selling the family silver to consentrate on a loss making business sounds about the norm for aim listed companies. | cocker |
