A friend of mine was an MM he wasn't a drunk, he employed a Maths Professor to develop sophisticated computer programmes to work with.

Mm's operate a 'business model' they ultimately have to win or there would be no market, it's just the way it is. Ultimately they don't care what we bought our shares for, if they want stock they'll take out anyone who is in a position to easily relinquish their holding or put the price up, etc etc. Very few people talk about the 'business model' there are the odd You Tube videos, though there are always so many unknowns and variables operating, and they don't like talking about it.

Maybe the LSE and AIM should join Lloyd's in banning daytime drinking!

It's all a game they play for very spoilt brats with a coke habit, half the time they just want to get down the local at lunch time to jack up!

Mind you in real terminology, mm's BUY from you and SELL to you. Which still makes what's showing inaccurate

There is a lot of this going on, when I buy its nearer the mid price with CLNR. I suppose if we can deduce what's going on we have an advantage. Alternatively each trade should carry a buy or sell code, mm's won't want that !

Looks like a typo to me maytrees, certainly looks like an increase. Should read above 3% IMO.

Good morning all

Today's RNS make little sense to me - can someone explain please?

The RNS states (and I summarise) that Mr Laurence Neal Butcher disclosed that on 23rd December 2016 his shareholding in the co went below 3% which he notified (only on) 13th February 2017.

Yet the actual numbers disclosed in the RNS do not seem (to me) to bear that out as they signify that before the transaction, he held 9,750,000 shares and after the transaction he held 10,250,000 shares which according to the RNS represents 3.11% of the total.

Often when an RNS signifies someone has built a stake in a co the others buy and visa versa if the RNS reports a diminution so the issue seems relevant.

They do it all the time to keep the price down when filling a large order, so,must be an iceberg order on the books in the background! I have been informed they can hold huge trades back for up to 3 months without showing them!

Those last two trades were buys ,the market makers opened the spread to make them look like sells.

Also imho, a large seller has been about about for days despite absence of real news.

Added a few more at sub 2.90p

Don't understand the relationship between share price and trades though share price tends to fall on no +ve news.
