28/8/2009 13:40 | Does anybody know when shareholders get their 39p cash offer through? | squintyflinty
28/8/2009 08:22 | Excellent - wish I had the balls to top up this week, but I just couldn't inderstand the wide share price discrepancy, and fell for the adage that the 'market knows best'. Pure greed I suspect, but a good end result | joe say
28/8/2009 07:49 | ... the deal is now done 39p per share. Sweet. Board and institutional holders recommending shareholders accept. | gac100
27/8/2009 22:03 | I posted on TMF this morning about the discount with CCGP trading at 28p - New fool username for me since my post there in June - But that's by the by - I just want to point out to you guys here that an advertisment has appeared on Housing 21's website in the last week: they are recruiting two NEDs "We're looking for two non-executive directors with property, social/healthcare, investment or City finance experience and a sound commercial background. These are key roles in shaping our strategies and the organisation's future direction ..." I don't know about anyone else, but it reads to me like Housing 21 are already preparing for a bigger and brighter future ... could mean the deal is all but done. | gac100
27/8/2009 15:37 | Assume all clear with the bid now? Price seems to indicate so. here's hoping | aishah
27/8/2009 12:17 | Trades are not showing!! | squintyflinty
27/8/2009 11:36 | I wrote these off in my head when they hit single figures, so I don't think I have anything to lose by hanging on until next week. Just look at the way the MM is manipulating the price - up over 5% today - on, er, precisely NO volume! Charles Stanley seem to be happy to buy in at the moment, and that's good enough for me. | markspeed
27/8/2009 09:47 | Home help 'beacon' A HOME help company that provides care to elderly and infirm people in Sheffield has been hailed as a beacon among its branches nationwide. The Sheffield branch of Claimar Care was subjected to an audit that inspected every aspect of its day-to-day running. The branch scored more than 90 per cent in the audit, establishing itself as a beacon branch within the company by demonstrating excellent working practice to comply with minimum standards. Claimar Care employs 160 carers in Sheffield. The audit was independent from the Care Quality Commission, the regulator of health and social care in England, who awarded the branch a two star rating in its last inspection. | aishah
27/8/2009 07:19 | Must say that I've been too nervous to add given this weeks share price movements. Q: Should the current bid not go ahead, would it not be reasonable to assume one of the other parties would return to the table, albeit at a reduced price - if so then what would be the best guestimate of this 2nd place price ? | joe say
26/8/2009 19:05 | Well we find out this week if the offer at 39p goes ahead. 25% upside if it does. | knowing
23/8/2009 23:54 | Will be interesting to see the price action this week as next Monday is the deadline. | knowing
14/8/2009 13:59 | Still risk associated with this offer. Unlikely to be a counter bid as it was put out to tender. asa such and for transparency I have fully exited - ave 33p. | the big fella
