06/1/2016 14:40 | I also prefer that CHL has paid their lawyers costs. This has given them a better representation and pleased that they have changed to their present lawyers. I'm not a big fan on pay if you win as per OXS. The lawyers in OXS will still get paid even though the lost as they will get most of the £12m that OXS will receive. | oggyrocks
06/1/2016 14:33 | Could be an exciting month. Bring it on ..... | oggyrocks
06/1/2016 14:31 | And with Roi saying they hoped it would be all over by January [so they thought result may be known by then] and DQ saying it could ALL be finished by June 2016. I would certainly be in the camp of Q1 for forgery case result. | debbiegee
06/1/2016 14:30 | And another 25K buy at 14:29 on the bid - pushed price back up again. | oggyrocks
06/1/2016 14:25 | I reckon it was a buy. My theory is some thought that they'd be raising money, because of the presentation in London. Then Christmas so most away from desk and now pretty clear they aren't so back up this goes. | bones30
06/1/2016 14:25 | Is listed now earlier at 13.11 in the trades and was clearly a buy along with the 25k at the same time which was listed as a sell as the price jumped. | debbiegee
06/1/2016 14:15 | was that 50k a buy or sell ? it was delayed so missed it. | oggyrocks
06/1/2016 11:16 | RNS out. If the directors and secretary are taking shares in lieu of cash remuneration, are they selling some to pay their monthly bills, or are they wealthy enough that they can work indefinitely for scrip? If the letter, then people are reading too much into this, IMO. --- Churchill Mining plc (AIM: CHL), ("Churchill" or the "Company") announces that it has today issued a total of 510,963 new Ordinary Shares to Directors and the Company Secretary at a deemed issue price of 28.66 pence per share in lieu of cash fees payable for the 2015 calendar year ("Remuneration Shares"). Directors' fees have been paid by the issue of ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company with no option to receive payment in cash since 1 April 2012. The change to the Directors' terms of engagement was one of a number of measures agreed to by the Directors and subsequently enacted by the Company at the time to preserve its cash reserves. In the current and future years, it is the intention that remuneration shares will be issued twice yearly i.e. in July in respect of the six months to 30 June and in January in respect of the six months to 31 December, in each case at a price calculated on the monthly volume weighted average mid-market price of the Company's Ordinary Shares for the relevant period. This arrangement will remain in place unless notified otherwise. | andy
06/1/2016 11:14 | karateboy, I would say neither case is that transparent, there always seems to be something like a black swan event that nobody anticipated that throws everything out of sync. People believe CHL are going to take the ROI for $3.3 billion, well I for one don't believe it. If CHL's case is watertight, they won't be negotiating with the ROI either, why would they if they know they are going to win much more by staying with the court action? Expect the unexpected, always, with AIM companies. | andy
06/1/2016 11:06 | And shares at a price 25% above current share price as well | tburns
06/1/2016 10:59 | I have always thought it significant that the Directors have taken shares instead of cash | baxter99
06/1/2016 10:58 | It is "comforting" to see our Directors are happy to forfeit their fees in lieu of shares........would they be happy to do so if they weren't confident of success? Also our Board have 33.7m shares between them (at £1 per share, for example) that is £33.9m between the 6! They are certainly VERY WELL incentivised to ensure Chl wins their case! Onwards and upwards for 2016. GLA Carlo | carlo sartori
06/1/2016 10:54 | hopefully this is good timing on their part! | pembury
06/1/2016 10:48 | RNS - bt of an uplift on current share price so seem confident! Churchill Mining plc (AIM: CHL), ("Churchill" or the "Company") announces that it has today issued a total of 510,963 new Ordinary Shares to Directors and the Company Secretary at a deemed issue price of 28.66 pence per share in lieu of cash fees payable for the 2015 calendar year ("Remuneration Shares"). | tburns

06/1/2016 09:50 | Just saw that go through - good work. Think a few people are still a bit wary after OXS. Luckily kept out of that one. (have had my fair share of donkeys) Plans for 2016 is to stop punting on AIM. Will keep hold of CHL, and have about 45,000 shs, but no other AIM shares for me. Fingers crossed this one pays off. | oggyrocks
