Transaction in own shares

Castle Alternative Invest AG (the "Company") announces that on February 3, 2014, it purchased 5,000 Ordinary Shares with a par value of CHF 5 each ("shares") at an average price per share of CHF 13.24.

These shares were purchased on the Company's second trading line on the SIX Swiss Exchange (ticker: CASNE). Under the current buyback programme, the Company has to date purchased 656,000 shares on its second trading line. It is intended that these shares be cancelled in due course.

The total number of shares currently in issue is 13,371,710 of which 656,000 are referred to above. A further 82,500 shares were purchased for cancellation in the previous second line buyback programme which ended on June 5, 2013 and it is intended that these also be cancelled in due course.
