"The planned acquisition of the Vametco vanadium mine from Evraz could, on completion, be a major transformational event for Bushveld (BMN). It would move BMN closer to being a fully vertically integrated vanadium explorer-producer-seller. The sale of vanadium in the currently oversupplied market will be greatly supported by BMN’s move into the vanadium redox flow-battery space. Advanced discussions are underway relating to a placing of shares and/or co investment to fund the deal..."

If you look at what bmn listed at with just the iron resource then 25p should be a walk in the park over the next year. Fair value is circa 35p here

Well I think this is excellent news, got a large holding and been in Bushvield for two and half years. As before if you need to read up on the potential try the LSe board.This will definately heat up in the next couple of weeks.

Could I suggest that you read many of the excellent pieces of research by several posters on LSE website and perhaps it will become a little clearer. Much of it is educated speculation, however Bigbitenow, Nickderby and others all seem very well versed on the subject....even the possibility of dilution

that's my concern Neily, the share price gets diluted but we have POTENTIALLY an excellent company. That means nothing to me, all I want is a return on my investment

I understand this looks like great news, but having been in a stock before that got suspended it wasn't a great experience. How are they going to fund the takeover?

Bushveld Minerals (LON:BMN) chief ececutive, Fortune Mojapelo tells Proactive Investors that the company's reverse takeover of Strategic Minerals is a transformational acquisition. "It is a low cost producer, it is well located in terms of infrastructure, it is not huge, it has got a fantastic management team, we know it well - it ticks pretty much all the boxes we are looking for" he says.

Mojapelo says the efforts now are focused on completing due diligence and the necessary admission documentation so they can put it all out to market. "We quite like the fact it has the capacity for chemicals line, not necessarily immediately, but we would look to leverage such a platform to support the energy storage applications of vanadium batteries" he says.

"We have undertaken significant due diligence on this asset for over the past 15 months and will now advance funding opportunities to meet the initial payment on 12 May 2016. We look forward to updating shareholders on the proposed acquisition in due course."

people jumping the gun, its not always the case.....BMN are about to enter an exciting phase IMO - and I think the new broker is probably a requirement of this new phase.
