19/12/2014 08:30 | From the update: "We anticipate that our performance for 2014 will comfortably meet current market expectations. The preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2014 will be announced on 2 March 2015." Reassuring in this market, but not exactly a growth industry if you read the whole RNS. PBT growth dépends mainly on reduction of cost of raw materials (petrochemicals) it appears. _________ PHTM very quiet but resilient it these choppy markets. It could take time to show value & rise, but these shares aren't like oïl minnows! I'll wait a while on both of them. | napoleon 14th
18/12/2014 18:08 | you could bang another 100p on the share price and it wouldn't look expensive.Very solid company this on. Their customers are not mugs but their gross margins will benefit from lower material prices. | meijiman
18/12/2014 16:54 | Bullish pre-close statement today..........this one should soon be on its way. | ygor706
10/12/2014 17:04 | Still like this one.........just a bit early to be getting the kind of headlines that will get the share price moving. Must be a good buy sub £6. | ygor706
03/12/2014 23:20 | napoleonl4th - Interesting; I hold PHTM as well, though a relatively small holding. Have held for some years. Not sure I want to add, though. | bouleversee
03/12/2014 21:42 | "Pity about the ones that didn't work out!" Yep, we've all had some of them.... As long as your winners gain more than the loosers! PHTM my bet for the next 12 months. Results tomorrow. I hold, having doubled my stake early this week.. | napoleon 14th
14/11/2014 09:17 | Topped up this morning........world naptha prices seem to have tanked along with oil which must feed through to lower plastics prices as time goes by. Sales side looks to be pretty stable so I think these look a good bet for the next 12 months. For the technically minded the share price troughs appears to be bouncing positively off the 10 day moving average which is normally a pretty bullish indicator. | ygor706
03/11/2014 18:35 | I bought at 125p in Apr. 09 in my ISA(having previously bought at 334p (non-ISA) in Jan. 05 (still held)) which was one of my better decisions. Did the same with Jas. Fisher, who have also done very well. Pity about the ones that didn't work out! | bouleversee
03/11/2014 18:20 | Yes, 02/07/09 @ 162.5p exactly. ISA share par excellence, I thought. | napoleon 14th
03/11/2014 17:03 | Quite a screamer ah? :-) CR | cockneyrebel
03/11/2014 16:50 | You must have bt in 2009 at that price.Good timing. Decent finish to the day here. Sometimes these 'boring' shares are the best place to be, particularly if lower raw material prices are boosting margins. | meijiman
31/10/2014 01:17 | I gather, from another thread, that we're in for a Trading Update early nov. Could be interesting. I have half those I bought for 165p some time ago. Steady unexciting long term outperformer. | napoleon 14th
29/10/2014 12:13 | Must be one of the more obvious gainers from lower commodity plastics prices. I think they hang onto margin gains pretty well. Customers are no mugs but net/net they gain from this pricing scenario. | meijiman
19/9/2014 11:17 | Moving up nicely now. | wanttowin
29/8/2014 09:37 | Results look strong, and shares look good value: · Operating profits increased 4% to £17.0 million (2013: £16.4 million) · Profits before tax up 5% to £14.8 million (2013: £14.1 million) · Adjusted earnings per share up 5% to 42.10p (2013: 40.12p) · Interim dividend per share increased by 11% to 5.0p (2013: 4.5p) | deadly
15/5/2014 10:32 | bpi still paying minimum wages, no rise for 3 years. | neddo
14/3/2014 08:05 | Sold half of mine this morning, scaling back on most of mine for a while. | wanttowin

07/3/2014 13:32 | Tks. Had been thinking about ITV myself. Will have a look at others, too. | bouleversee
07/3/2014 08:48 | bouleversee.. THT, FLYB and ITV, I am very confident with, plenty of upside to come on all three. These have had a good run but prefer TEP if you like defensive stock, I will probably reduce here after divi day. | wanttowin
06/3/2014 16:57 | wanttowin - such as? | bouleversee
06/3/2014 16:38 | I'm holding enough of these bouleversee so not adding, others seem more attractive to me at the moment. | wanttowin
06/3/2014 16:34 | So should we be buying moe? | bouleversee
06/3/2014 16:06 | Best part of 150,000 shares been dumped by directors, might explain why no build up in share price prior to divvie day next week. | wanttowin |
