Posted at 09/6/2016 15:19 by makinbuks Certainly like their acquisitions RPC. As a long term holder of BPI I will be disappointed to see it go. Its always difficult to find long term value to replace such holdings. Had similar feelings losing Amlin a few months back |

The company has also announced a proposed transfer of activity from its Sevenoaks site to another group facility. The associated £1m exceptional charge in the current year will be matched by the annual profit uplift in subsequent years once completed. This..." |
Posted at 28/4/2016 14:30 by thomasthetank1 Read Edison's note on BRITISH POLYTHENE INDUSTRIES, out this morning, by visiting hxxps://www.research"British Polythene Industries (BPI) has a seasonally stronger H1 trading pattern and a positive Q1 trading update allows us to upgrade estimates again, having done so after the FY15 results. The previously announced disposal of a Chinese subsidiary has completed on slightly better terms than previous guidance. Despite this progress, BPI’s rating remains stubbornly in single-digit P/E territory ..." |
Posted at 03/3/2016 16:35 by nehpets81 Can anyone work out when the ex-dividend date is? In note 4 they state it "will be paid to shareholders on the register at close of business on 10th May" then in the Chairman's statement is states that it "will be paid to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 11th March"As they are talking about the record date, neither of those look right to me. |
Posted at 18/1/2016 13:19 by ygor706 Don't quite understand why input material costs are holding up on the BPI buy side but with oil prices heading for $20 a barrel and Iran coming into the Middle Eastern equation that cant go on forever. |
Posted at 02/11/2015 15:56 by bouleversee However, BPI say they don't make them now. |
Posted at 19/10/2015 14:44 by bouleversee Do the new regs. re plastic carrier bags have any implications for BPI or is this not their bag, so to speak? |
Posted at 14/9/2015 10:50 by mike740 BPI British Polythene industries, featured here last week, breaking out and heading towards an all time high. My share price target is broker Investech's target of 800p initially. |
Posted at 28/8/2015 08:16 by ygor706 Solid interims but the anticipated fall in raw material prices has not yet arrived for a variety of reasons. Am still expecting it to feed through as the year progresses. Good increase in the dividend and probably more to go for at these levels. |
