been here a while as well, certainly odd trades yesterday, could buy last week 2.5/2.6 with no real effort but not a lot of size around, although wavering seems to have answered that one

3 buys today adding to nearly 1m.

90% of the shares in major holders hads so when this takes of it should fly like a bird imo, can't be hardly any tradeable shares about.

well done.

being marked up this am - seems to be a buyer out there of size. Perhaps one of those big vertical spikes coming again before the results.

Directors have been buying big

Well CR, I have picked up another 750K at 2.5p over the last few days, thanks to you reminding me that maybe this lemon will turn into a swan. Can't buy many more as that would take me over 3% and I don't want to have to do announcements and stuff.

I see the mm's paid 2.5p for 250K - someone gobbling up on the quiet again, ahead of the results.

Think these are due for one of those virtical spike north soon that it seems to have - hoping the results will trigger the next one.

JLH is on my excitement list (results from now to the end of May). APG looks like it could surprise at the results in June too imo.

I see we are tinking up here ahead of the results - about time and not unexpected imo.

Well the director buying here has been pretty impressive and constant.

I was sort of told to buy them by a guy that has done me proud in the past. Rare I take a tip but I trust my lead here. I'm expecting/hoping for these to take off from the results.

These are in profit from here on imo, H2 looks like being as low as a 0.04p loss from what I can see and quite likely tht they do over 0.2p for the full year imo. Seems quite a strong growth rate too. This year they look like going from 0.4p loss to 0.2p loss and the pace increasing.

In many ways they remind me of YSP, underlooked while directors buy and the scope to release cash to investors on a strong regular basis going forward.

That'sw my hope anyway - we'll see :-)

ticking up this morning - I think the year ahead looks like being far better than current forecasts myself and there is still that relentless buyer picking up 200Ks whenever they are about to be had.

I can't figure out that stake they have taken but the co obviously sees something advantageous there.

The Equity Developments note is forecasting 0.43p earnings growth over last year - that's some pace. I notice Brokerlink were forecasting just £50K profit this year in Jan whereas ED are now forecasting £300K, that's quite an increase.

Cheers badday.

I've looked as far as I can into the Poly Info investment and the rationale for BRG isn't immediately apparent. Does anyone know why this move might be positive?

Cheers

I find these very interesting and having 5 bagged YSP in 6 months or so I can see this being potentially another performer on the same scale. While these manage investment funds and YSP were more direct property investors the tax benefits of being a REIT are likely to accelerate the performance here imo.

The chart is interesting too. It's had a couple of huge vertical spikes that just look like false starts to the real rise imo. A lot of director buying to say the least too.

As with YSP, a lot of these property based co's are a bit tooo complex to easily read for us lay investors but like YSP there's been a ton of director buying that says something good is happening imo.

I've been watching someone pick up 200K after 200K @ 2.75p from a matched off seller at 2.5p for a while now so there's a keen buyer in the market for some reason, just as we approach year end. Decided to make my move as these ticked up this week.

We'll no doubt chat again - hopefully at double the price as Equity Developments suggest then - I'll skip off now and read that note - cheers

CR, also a new note issued by Equity Developments on 21.03.07. Whilst stating they it it to 'more than double' they are give mention to Vincent Tchenguiz:

The directors and their associates own 29.9% of the shares and so does Wheddon
Ltd, indirectly owned by a Tchenguiz family trust. This enables the directors to
concentrate on working for the longer-term benefit of the group but not to neglect
shareholders' interests. Vincent Tchenguiz and the CEO meet frequently and he is
a link to a host of property professionals. So if Braemar needs any specialist
property skills that it does not already possess in-house it can access them easily.

I see there's a broker note on the co website now

Didn't realise these were backed by Vincent Tchenguiz.

Picked up 400K today.

This BB is nice and quiet - great sign imo.

These should do well out of becoming a REIT. Directors buying shedloads too. Losses have been falling at a delightful rate, reckon a profit is well on the cards for H2 - may be on a very low forward PE imo.

Year end March 31 - trading statement or more director buying soon?

Someone has been picking up 200Ks on the quiet for days.

Again...

I was wondering when the FD would be allowed to buy again, since he was a bit quick off the mark in August.
