12/6/2007 07:11 | Think we may be in for one of those spikes...... RNS Number:1724Y Braemar Group PLC 12 June 2007 Braemar Group plc 12 June 2007 AUDITED FINAL RESULTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2007 Financial Highlights * Turnover up to #2.4 million (2006 #0.3 million) * Gross profit up to #657,000 (2006 #156,000) * Operating loss before goodwill amortisation narrowed to #166,000 (2006 loss of #263,000), which represents an operating profit in the second half. The Group has continued to make good progress in the year ended 31 March 2007, our first full trading year since the reverse takeover of The Braemar Group Limited in December 2005. Financial Overview Turnover for the year has increased to #2,365,000 (2005 #269,000), which has been built through a combination of growth in our property and fund administration division and the launch, in October 2006, of our corporate finance division. The performance in the second half of the year showed a marked improvement on the first half reflecting a successful return on the investments made in the first half in personnel and developing our range of services. The Group recorded an operating profit, before goodwill amortisation, of #17,000 in the six months ended 31 March 2007, compared with an operating loss, before goodwill amortisation, of #183,000 in the first six months, a turn-around of #200,000, resulting in an overall operating loss, before goodwill amortisation, for the year of #166,000. This is the third successive half-yearly improvement in the operating performance of the Group. Cash balances at the year-end were #767,000 (2006: #557,000) and net assets at the year end were #2,113,000 (2006: #2,409,000). | bigbigdave

30/5/2007 12:45 | next leg up soon imo. Large keen buyer been about over the past week or two, results in a fortnight should man more buying ahead of that. CR | cockneyrebel
25/5/2007 11:27 | 1.5M sold yesterday and the bid never flinched - a huge buyer about ahead of the results. CR | cockneyrebel
24/5/2007 11:14 | still moving up on L2, 2 mm's now on 3.25p bid CR | cockneyrebel
23/5/2007 22:36 | Sep 05 these went from 2.5p to 5p in a couple of days :-) CR | cockneyrebel
23/5/2007 22:31 | Sounds like they will have a good story to tell perhaps, can't see why you'd do that if you had boring or mediocre news imo. Good point, CR. I would expect M&M to under promise and over deliver unlike certain other characters I could mention. As for the SP, well, miracles can happen. Funny thing is that a rise from 2.5p to say 6.0p does not sound a lot but a rise from 250p to 600p does. | wavering
23/5/2007 19:41 | Interesting, that's the day of the results. Sounds like they will have a good story to tell perhaps, can't see why you'd do that if you had boring or mediocre news imo. CR | cockneyrebel

23/5/2007 17:14 | Judging by the way this has spiked in the past possibly by the end of this week 8-) | bigbigdave
23/5/2007 17:12 | :-) someone grabbed 500K @ 3.88p when the bid ticked up so that's a bold punt with such a wide spread - cost him £2K+ to make that trade and lose the spread. The chart has broken out of a pennant formation today wavering, reckon you'll see that 5p sooner than you thing. CR | cockneyrebel
23/5/2007 12:50 | CR, I have no inside knowledge other than that they are still answering the phones (worth 1p on a penny stock) and that Martin and Marc are extremely competent as mentioned before (worth 4p per share) so that gives about 5p so far. So still cheap ... | wavering

23/5/2007 11:50 | that's a breakout here too - well done on that recent buy wavering - what do you know? CR | cockneyrebel
23/5/2007 11:41 | Wow! At this rate may well get my money back (mostly bought at 3p about a year ago) | wavering
23/5/2007 11:39 | look at the chart - one of those nice big vertical rises again - will this be the big one before the results this time? :-) Been keen buying here for some weeks behind the scene. CR | cockneyrebel |
