26/6/2017 08:43 | Added again. steptoe, gap is filled. barry, it's probably best to suggest you try googling it, rather than go into a long explanation here! | bamboo2
26/6/2017 08:39 | What do you guys mean by, testing the gap? | barrytipper
26/6/2017 08:35 | Is that the gap filled? | steptoes yard

25/6/2017 17:44 | I make it a 10.18 % growth in rest of portfolio. which is reasonable ? | monnow
25/6/2017 17:01 | Well if that's accurate - the entire growth in your £140k sipp has come from BOO and none of your other stocks have grown. I humbly suggest you should diversify :) | toffeeman
25/6/2017 15:23 | Bottom line ladies and gents, have faith in the product, I bought 38k at 48p......it was then 25% of my sipp. It is now 60%!! However happy as i feel safer.....I work in the industry, for me this will be another asos given time (i might have mentioned this before.!)Good luck all | telbap
23/6/2017 18:00 | Thanks bamboo. | discodave4
23/6/2017 17:53 | DD4, FWIW, not holding at the moment but have been trading BOO for some time now. I will try to buy back around 230, but will average in, for obvious reasons. Edit, meant to say earlier, Breakaway Gaps often remain unfilled. | bamboo2
23/6/2017 17:42 | sogoesit They have voted for the 10% buyback every year since IPO but they have never exercised it........guess they won't this time either!?.DD | discodave4
23/6/2017 17:34 | Thanks chaps, sorry only looked quickly on stockcharts (daily candles) and only looked at the wicks not open/close for some reason -duh!.Been watching these since they IPO'd, completely missed the boat and then the usual waiting for a nice drop/s, now will see if it does drop (no offence intended to holders!) and place a SB (long).Still a bit apprehensive though because there is still 25.25 million BoD shares still to be sold at the placing price.DD | discodave4
23/6/2017 17:16 | Sogoesit has it right, but it depends what type of prices your daily candlestick chart is using. Gaps are not always as visible as you would think. ADVFN/Tradingview uses Mid prices to shape the candle. Gap easily visible. Tradingview direct uses last market prices. Gap not visible. Need to check open and closing prices. Last market pricing means that a candle shape uses all the trades reported that day, sometimes even late trades! [how useful is that! - not.] In practice this means gaps of all types are more likely to appear on a chart based on Mid prices than Last market. The gap concerned is a Breakaway Gap, and this often represents a support zone. In the middle of the support zone lies 227.65 which is 50% retrace of the recent rise. | bamboo2
23/6/2017 16:47 | DiscoDave4, As Sogoesit posted. Candlesticks chart shows it clearly. Just one approach to charting.Works sometimes! ;-) | wetdream
23/6/2017 16:43 | Gap-Up: Close 220 on 06/06 Open 231 on 08/06 Intraday low since 234.85 Support about 236.5 AGM Resolutions passed including 10% Buyback. | sogoesit
23/6/2017 16:17 | wetdream Your post 6510, what gap?, I can't see one at all at 220-230.DD | discodave4
23/6/2017 13:42 | They (like most big companies) have an Investor relations department. A team dedicated to all things 'Investor related"! | analcime
23/6/2017 13:25 | I would rather they focus on increasing shareholder value and as long as they are delegating this SN activity to junior staff then it's ok | toffeeman
23/6/2017 13:13 | Great idea to have Investors close to companies they are invested in. | analcime
23/6/2017 11:44 | BooHoo.com's management have joined the investofi platform, which allows them to speak to investors directly. We are running a promotion and giving away £1,000 of BooHoo.com as well as cash prizes. Between 12pm-5pm for investors that register on investofi - www.investofi.com and connect with BooHoo.com, they will go into a pot and winners will be randomly selected. The first prize will be £1,000 of BOO shares, after that there will be ten prizes of £100 and twenty prizes of £50. In our last promotion, we only had 74 investors that participated, so you have close to a 50% chance of winning a prize. Good luck! | paset2glen
23/6/2017 10:47 | I'm not in my early 20s but a bit younger than you guys ;-)Tyga has a huge social media following so it is a good tie in. Fashion and social media is a big thing for men in their early 20s - it's not just women and more so when I was a decade ago. That age group don't spend their money on boozing (as I did a decade ago) but spend it on looking good and keeping up with trends. They get these trends form social media so Tyga is a good fit. | villarich
23/6/2017 10:46 | Toffeeman 23 Jun '17 - 08:42 - 6514 of 6515 1 0 I would love to wear them - but being old and not thin enough I would look even more of a prat GREAT POST Made me really smile :) | au24
23/6/2017 09:30 | I think they will have brought Tyga on board to drill into the US market as he has a huge following in the US and is very "current". I see this as a big positive for boohoo as it enhances their goals to expand globally.I am not personally a fan of his music but excellent choice imo from a growth perspective. | emmash |
